Thank. God, to be honest I don't know what Luke would do without Scarlet from what I've heard their better as a team, well isn't everyone Luke has just explained to Scarlet everything that just happened and handed her dagger back to her she twirls it in her hand a few times before putting it back in her belt, I now feel, very weak, holding this shield up feels almost impossible I feel as through I might pass out myself and my father doesn't seem to care much until his head finally faces me his eyes widening a little as his eyes fall on me he walks over to me and speaks so softly it's hard to hear.
"Isabel you can stop holding it"
"I can't, this"
I say moving my eyes all around the purple shape that I've made.
"Is our only light, we almost lost Scarlet because of it"
my eyes fall to the Commander, Daniel, and Scarlet and then to the blank glassy eyed man before my eyes fall back on to ones exactly like my own.
"And we don't know if there are anymore unwanted surprises"
All my father can do is nod at me before he turns to the others then speaks.
"We need another way of getting light, Isabel can't hold this for long"
They all give him a 'no shit' look before Daniel goes looking through his bag and then another voice speaks, a females.
"How bad is it issy"
I'm starting to sweat that is my answer. And Scarlet looked to be in deep thought before she grabbed the same rock that had her blood on it, and she eyed it for a moment like she didn't know what was really on it, before she pulled something else out from her belt pocket, Ferrous rod known as fire steel why did she have that? She placed the rock down before her eyes fall to Anderson again a new kind of look in them. trust. And that makes me smile just a little.
"You got anything cotton?"
She asked him and he shyly smiled before handing something white that I can't quiet see.
"Anderson bloody hell, please tell me you have more cotton then that"
He handed him more and she started to try and do something, light it.
