There getting ready. Armour, swords, daggers, uniform while I'm packing a medical kit. I can't help but finding myself staring at Scarlet the way she twirls the dagger, like she's known it her whole life and I can't help but smile at the thought my eyes go over to the commander talking to Luke, or should I start calling him captain now, I'm not sure. I feel so out of place here but I guess I have Isabel this is also some else's first mission which is a little comforting, my eyes fall on Isabel then to the commander and I can hear a little bit of his conversation.
"Your danger detection should be able to warn us of near by enemy's"
A voice, Lukes voice speaks back.
"Well that's it's whole purpose isn't it"
And I don't know how I feel about the way he's saying it but the commander nods and turns to us.
"Everyone ready?"
He asks and we all nod.
"Good, now follow me"
He walks out and me and everyone else follows, why do I get the feelings we're walking right into our deaths, wonderful thinking Daniel. My eyes keep falling on Scarlet and I'm not sure why it's just something about her and she turns to me for a second then turns back I wonder if she feels what I'm feeling, don't kid yourself, we walk out the headquarters and we are greeted with sunlight and blue skies, it's almost to perfect of a day, we keep pushing forward and I can feel the stares as we walk though the streets I try to steel myself but I just can't, I wear my emotions on my shelves, and not with pride. We push on and on and on until we are out the main city and are now in the forest, the trees look so long when your in the forest itself and not on the outside, its so quiet and I don't like it. I hate it the brides and the wind are the two things stopping me from fully going insane, I have, we have no idea where we are headed only two people really know that.
"We're almost there!"
The Commander shouts and we all nod and them the commander rose an hand in the air a sign to stop I think because everyone has stopped moving.
"Anything?"
He turns to face Luke and he shakes his head which is an all clear I'm pretty sure and we keep moving, not stopping, and we make it to what seems like a base, the one we're looking for. The commander turns to Luke again and he shakes his head again, and we move in slowly when we notice a key pad, and now his head turns to the red-haired woman next to me.
"Scarlet"
Scarlet nods.
"On it"
She walks over ahead of all of us and kneels down and gets to work opening it and pulling out a screwdriver I'm pretty sure gets to work.
