Wade slowly lifted his head, groggy and disoriented, to find himself sitting at a table in a sterile, dimly lit room. A man in a suit and tie stood at the far end of the table, his demeanor calm and controlled. "Mr. Wilson," the man began, his tone slightly condescending as he looked at Wade. "You appear to have soiled yourself while unconscious."

Wade blinked a few times, processing the man's words before dismissing them. "I wasn't unconscious. Who are you? Where's my sister?" he asked, his concern for Milo immediately taking precedence.

The man smiled faintly, unfazed by Wade's urgency. "I go by the name of Paradox, Mr. Paradox, and you're sitting here at the TVA, the Time Variance Authority. Your sister is fine; she's in another room. But we're really a watchdog organization. Except we're more lighthearted than that sounds, with sort of a throwback ironic twist. And we're in charge of defending what's known as the sacred timeline."

Wade stared at Paradox, his expression a mix of confusion and irritation. "Holy fuck, that is a shit ton of exposition for a three-quel. Is this because I used Cable's Time Machine, brought a couple of people back to life, then destroyed it? That was a long time ago."

Paradox shook his head, a small, amused smile on his lips. "Yes, we're aware of your abuse of your timeline. You were quite the violator, to put it mildly. But no, it has nothing to do with that. Walk with me." With a snap of his fingers, Paradox grabbed something from the table, signaling for Wade to follow.

Wade hesitated, glancing around the room one more time before rising to his feet.

Wade and Paradox entered a large room that resembled a bustling call center, with rows of desks and screens lining the walls. Milo, standing near some of the TVA soldiers, spotted her brother and immediately ran over to him.

"Wade!" she exclaimed, relief evident in her voice.

Wade turned and saw Milo rushing toward him. "Milo," he replied, his concern melting into warmth as they embraced.

After a heartfelt hug, the siblings pulled away and turned their attention back to Paradox, who stood a few steps in front them.

Paradox, with his calm and measured demeanor, began to explain. "I brought you two here to tell you that you're special. In fact, you've been chosen for a higher purpose. A purpose unclear even to me, but one that could save the entire sacred timeline from a possibly grisly fate sometime in the future, which may very well need to be avenged."

Wade and Milo exchanged confused glances, absorbing the gravity of Paradox's words.

Wade's eyes narrowed with a mix of amusement and skepticism as he addressed Paradox. "This sacred timeline, I assume we're going to 'marvel' at how 'cinematic' it feels, with gratuitous cameos, indiscriminate use of variance, the whole package."

Paradox remained unfazed, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Now, you tell me."

He pointed a remote at a series of TVs mounted on the walls, which flickered to life, showing various Marvel moments.

Milo's eyes widened in awe as she watched the scenes unfold. "Wow," she muttered, captivated by the display.

Wade stepped closer to one of the screens, his attention caught by a familiar face. "Cap," he said, seeing Captain America saluting. Wade instinctively saluted in return before turning his attention back to Paradox. "You guys are no longer lost. Wade. Milo. You can be a hero among the heroes. We've been surveilling you for quite a while."
