Blade woke up in a desert area, the heat pressing down on her as she slowly sat up. She heard her brother's voice nearby, "Don't just stand there, you ape. Give me a hand up." Turning her head, Blade's eyes widened as she spotted Wolverine standing above Deadpool.
"Holy shit," she muttered to herself, her heart racing with excitement as she realized she was finally face-to-face with Wolverine.
Wolverine extended his claws, and Deadpool quickly shook his head, "No, I'm actually okay, thank you."
Ignoring him, Wolverine stabbed Deadpool in the side and lifted him up effortlessly. "Where the hell are we?" Wolverine growled, his voice low and menacing.
Deadpool, despite the pain, glanced down at him and quipped, "I don't know. It looks kind of Mad Max-y. But that would be IP infringement, right?"
Wolverine snarled, clearly unimpressed. "Fucking jokes," he muttered, then without warning, stabbed Deadpool in the crotch and tossed him to the ground.
Blade stood there, watching the exchange in awe, barely believing she was witnessing the legendary Wolverine in action.
"Fuck... Are you even listening back there?" Deadpool groaned as he stood up, brushing off the dust. He looked around for his sister, spotting her still standing there, watching the scene unfold. He let out a sigh, "If we don't make it back to that Mr. Paradox asshole, everyone we know is going to die." His tone was serious, clearly talking about the dire situation they were in.
Wolverine barely glanced back as he began to walk away. "Not my fucking problem," he growled, dismissive.
Deadpool, frustrated, called out, "Well, is that all you got? Is that what you said when your world went to shit?"
Wolverine paused, then turned around, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Come again?"
Deadpool pressed on, "Yeah, I heard all about you. You screwed up everything, and you should be thanking me for pulling you out of that bed you shit in."
Before Deadpool could react, Wolverine shoved Blade out of the way and stabbed Deadpool in the back with his claws, lifting him off the ground effortlessly. "Oh, you backstabbing son of a bitch!" Deadpool groaned in pain, but his reflexes kicked in. He flipped over Wolverine's shoulders, pulling the mutant down so that Wolverine's back was pressed against Deadpool's chest.
Deadpool quickly drew his two pistols and pressed them into Wolverine's sides. "Are you ready to be calm now?" he whispered into Wolverine's ear, the tension thick between them
Wolverine slammed his head into Deadpool's nose, the impact reverberating through the air with a sickening crack. Before Deadpool could react, Wolverine pulled him by the legs and hurled him into a nearby wall, the force of the throw sending him sliding down to the ground. He landed in front of a battered "20th Century Fox" sign.
"Rest in pieces, Fox," Deadpool groaned, slowly pushing himself up, wincing as he did. Wolverine advanced, each step heavy as the bullets lodged in his sides fell to the ground with soft clinks.
"I don't want to fight you, Peanut. Doesn't matter what you did. I just need your help," Deadpool said, his voice sincere, despite the situation.
