"Yosha!" Lucky shouted as he rolled his arm, ready for a fight, a wide grin on his face. He was glad to be
back on Earth, there was just something special about the place, and nothing was more fun then beating
up Jark Matter goons so he was in high spirits already leading into his catchphrase.
"W-Where's the bad guys?" Hammy looked around confused as Lucky stopped himself from shouting as
they arrive to just find civilian picking themselves up from the ground confused and ready to return to
their normal lives.
Champ ran to help one older man up and the robot used the opportunity to find out more, "We came as
soon as we heard their was trouble but it seems you fended it off yourself?"
The old man waved a dismissive hand, "It was one of those space aliens, the Kyuurangers, didn't see
much just a flash of redish brown and a white light. He didn't even stick around for thanks before darting
off again."
Champ nodded and help the old man find a seat before returning to the others. Over the next few days the
news was the same, Jark Matter alert but the bad guy defeated before they arived.
"I can't believe someone is pretending to be us, garu!"
Lucky pat the wolf's shoulders and smiled, "Someone is ot there fighting Jark Matter, sounds to me like
their nor pretending they are one of us!"
Garou nodded, always the simp, "Your right Lucky, garu!"
Planetside Naga was crouched in some brush, eyes locked on a clearing, so focused in fact Balance
dropping in beside him and shouting out a chipper, "Naga!" totally broke his focus and made him jump.
Naga quickly recovered and pulled Balance into the brush and shushed him, "Quiet, there's been reports
of a beast hunting wild life in this area and disturbing the peace, I plan to stop i~"
A rustle caught him off guard, but it was from behind him as out of nowhere a ape like figure pounced,
Naga naturally did not loose his cool and with one look the figure was frozen in place.
Balance paced around the figure curiously analyzing it, it was just under 6 feet, covered in reddish-brown
fur, had a long tail with a turfed end, claws, and horns as well as rows of sharp teeth inside its snarling
maw, and wore tattered and dirty white clothes. Based on all he had discovered about earth and it's culture
he decared, "Some kind of werewolf or yoki. Don't let your gaze drop Naga it's claws could turn you into
a beast just like it."
The beast snorted in laughter and growled, "Jark Matter!"
Naga's eyes widened and that was enough to break the spell, but the pair were ready and transformed,
"Any servant of Jark Matter is an enemy of ours!"
But just before they struck, the figure ALSO transformed, now mostly white with a helmet patterned after
a cat and...a skirt.
"Well," Balance laughed, "At lease we know her gender."
And thus the 3 rangers fought, exchanging blows and being more or less equal in power while not really
exchanging any banter, each side already knew all they needed about their opponent.
But not long after Balance and Naga got a message from Raptor, "Balance, Naga! Heads up there's Jark
Matter activity in your area."
"Yeah we know!" Balance chirped, "We're fighting her now!"
"Wow, that was fas~" Raptor was caught off guard as the creature lunged and the communication
terminated.
"Not sure if Raptor got our position," Naga warned, "We may not be getting backup."
But as the white ranger spun on her heels, fingers digging into the dirt like a wild beast she stopped,
sniffed the air. Then pounced on Naga and Balance knocking them to the ground just as blaster fire
scorched the ground where they once stood, Jark Matter troops coming out of the brush to surround them.
"Friends of yours?" Naga sneared as he and Balance go to their feet.
The white ranger dusted herself up and stood up tall, her proportion inside the suit shifting to something
more humanlike and less ape, "This may not be my Earth, but I'll be damned if I let you destroy it too."
"It's the White Kyuuranger, get her!" spoke the Jark Matter boss.
As the white ranger and Jark Matter forces engaged Balance and Naga shared looks, Balance laughing.
"Looks like it was all a big misunderstanding!"
The pair joining the fight, and soon joined by Hammy and Lucky, the five able to destroy the soldiers and
boss relatively quickly and then all five powering down, the white ranger back in her ape like form
already turning to leave as Balance and Naga got Hammy and Lucky caught up.
"Yosha Lucky!" Lucky grinning wide as he bounced over to the new ally, "Your that red-brown blur that's
been fighting Jark Matter for weeks while we were in space. Hi I'm Lucky and we're the saviors of space,
Kyuuranger, where did you find your Kyuutama!"
The figure paused, brushing Lucky's hand off as she tried to slink away, "Not a Kyuuranger just a
wanderer trying to keep Earth safe."
"That's what we do!" Hammy joined Lucky trying to pull the figure away, "Come on! Tell us all about
you!"
The figure shook her head, "Don't..." she pulled away tears in her eyes, "Already lost enough friends."
Her growling stomach however broke the coming silence and Lucky dance ahead of her, "Hey you helped
defeat Jark Matter least we can do is feed ya! Come on."
Not taking no for an answer the five were soon up in space aboard the Orion. The Figure hung by a
window watching space, starting at Earth until Spada finally emerged with tray of food. With a sigh the
figure stood up, shrinking to a more human like proportion and buttoned up her tattered clothes. When she
sat down and joined them she ate like a civilized being but didn't speak.
"So she can change shape," Stinger notes, "A beast and a girl."
"Zyuuman," the figure finally spoke, her tone clear and civil, "I'm a Zyuuman." She sighed, "And yes I'm
both sentient and civilized. I just don't see the point is putting on a front when the only things I interact
with is space monster I need to defeat and whatever food I can scrounge up." She paused, then looked
over to Spada, "My complement to the chef. This is great."
"Gratzie!"
"You said something about your Earth being destroyed," Naga asked flatly. "Are you from the future? We
had some dealing with time travel recently. Is there something we should know about?"
The figure growled, Lucky seemed to shrink a little at the discussion before perking up and patting the
figures shoulders, "That's right! Earth is still here! And now your here you can keep it from being
destroyed! Yosha Lucky!"
The figure shook her head, "It's not my Earth, I don't know it's fate."
Excusing herself she returned to the window, voice soft and low, "You wouldn't understand."
"Alternate universe?" Shou interjects, "We have experience with that too."
This got a response as the figure turned back, "You can call me...Blecker."
The space saviors nodded, it's not like a single name was unfamiliar to them so they accepted it at face
value.
Lucky once again moving to her side, "I lost my world too. Jark Matter."
This got a start out of Blecker, and a growl, "I'll make them pay."
"We all will, that's why were the Kyurangers, the Space Saviors!" Hammy purred.
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Raptor offered, trying to comfort Blecker by
draping her Kyuuranger jacket over her.
Blecker lets the tears flow as she pulled the jacket close, her claws digging in and tearing holes in the
fabric as her body trembled, "I-I was once part of a team like this. But I got a call, another universe
needed help...their...changers destroyed...and only I could fix them."
Blecker takes out an odd looking smart phone, tears in her eyes dripping onto the screen, "Decided to stay
a bit and give them a hand..."
She looked back out to the Earth floating in space, her voice haunted and shaking, "When I came home
all I saw was Earth, dragged into a massive black hole before it collapsed...leaving...nothing."
The air hung heavy as the Space saviors, especially Earth born Kotaro and Tsurugi, pilled into a group hug
around Blecker. "I wandered the multiverse for...I stopped counting how long. Found other Earths but
didn't interfere, they weren't my home."
"You're interfering now, what happened?"
Finally a smile broke across Blecker's face, "I met some good...people...they gave me a home and
friendship. Eventually I decided that even if it wasn't my Earth it was still work protecting. I just...didn't
see any point in making friends with strangers or trying to be civilized. It's not my Earth, its not my
friends. But I'll still protect them."
"Earth isn't my home Earth, garu, but I'll still lay down my life for it. We all would. Most of us aren't
from Earth, garu. But it full of life worth protecting, garu."
Blecker smiled, hugging Garou, "Thanks."
Raptor smiled next, "I prepared a room for you. If your fighting Jark Matter you welcome here to rest and
to eat. Maybe one day you'll eve consider us friends...come on...follow me."
Blecker dried her tears and did so, smiling, "You know, Pink is my strongest color."
Raptor smiled back as the pair vanished down the halls.
