The months came and went as I became more and more pregnant. My belly was rounding, and I could feel kicks. Oddly, they were from both sides at the same time.
In the meanwhile, Sultan Osman remained ever dedicated, refusing Mehe Kalfa's desires for him to bed with other women, and my omen of Arketá simply being a one night stand remained true, for the time being.
Sultana Nuray invited the entirety of the harem to party ahead of my child being born. I'm expecting very soon, and this would be a good way to remind everyone who will be the most powerful in the Harem.
Eyes went on me as "Behic Hatun hazretleri!" was announced and everyone stopped what they were doing. Some girls like Meria and Althea smiled at me, but as I looked around I met the gaze of Arketá Hatun. She glared and whispered something I couldn't make out, and as a proper response, I smirked at her as we came closer.
"Your end will come, Valencia!" She hissed. I tossed my hair over my shoulder.
"Yours first," I leaned in closer to utter the next part. "Need I remind you, I carry Sultan Osman's children. When I deliver the child, I will be a Sultana. You are nothing."
I smiled cheekily as I looked up.
"Behic Hatun! Come sit with me!" Sultana Nuray called from the grand sitting chair as she patted the seat beside her. A kind Sultana she was, and interesting since she wasn't invested in politics as others have, but rather enjoying herself and being kind. That's what made her very well liked.
"I best be going to my seat!" I giggled as I waved my fingers at Arketá. She sneered, but I knew she would have a sort of meltdown later, because that's what losers do. And I have better things to do, and plans to make for the future.
I sat beside Nuray Sultan and smiled softly at her as we talked a bit while odalisques danced for us.
"How are you feeling, Behic? Aren't you expecting soon?"
"Well," I started, "I am feeling good for now. I am indeed!" Nuray then focused on talking with the others as I watched excitedly until I started feeling cramps.

I waited as it hurt more and more. Then I couldn't hold it in. I screamed. "I'm delivering!" Everyone began moving around like crazy and I was taken to the hospital room of the harem, where they put me on some sort of drugs as I went unconscious.
