The morning dawns, and Elisa awakens early, determined to meet with the keepers in the Map Chamber before her first class. With careful steps, she quietly leaves the dorm room, aiming to tread lightly to not disturb the other girls.

As she descends the stairs, she moves silently, treading softly to avoid awakening anyone else who may still be sleeping. Every creaking floorboard seems amplified in the stillness, but she manages to reach the common room without alerting anyone.

Elisa gives herself a quick once-over in the mirror, ensuring she looks presentable for the day ahead. She turns to find Sebastian at a table, engrossed in a book. His untamed hair is disheveled as always, and his weary eyes blink slowly, clearly still waking up.

With a sense of trepidation, she tries to navigate the common room discreetly, hoping to avoid catching his attention.

However, Sebastian's senses are finely tuned, and he notices her movement in his peripheral vision. He looks up, his tired eyes locking onto her form as she attempts to slip away unnoticed.

Elisa, having attempted to stealthily cross the common room, gets intercepted by Sebastian's weary but determined gaze. His voice, although tired, carries a quiet insistence. "Morning, Elisa. Can we please talk?"

Elisa hesitates momentarily, the weight of their previous argument still hanging in the air. She weighs her options before finally responding with a hint of reluctance.

"What is it, Sebastian?"

With a hint of sass in his voice, Sebastian quips, "Good morning to you too, Sebastian. Would be a great start to the conversation."

Elisa responds with an exasperated eye roll, trying to walk away from the boy in front of her, saying, "I don't have time for this, Sallow."

But Sebastian, refusing to let her slip away, grabs her arm and retorts, "I'm only joking, but some manners wouldn't hurt. Perhaps it's the Irish stubbornness in you."

Tired of the banter, Elisa ascends the stairwell towards the common room exit, only to find Sebastian following.

Sebastian matches Elisa's pace, his footsteps echoing in the hallway as he follows her. He pleads, "Eli, I'm trying to make amends and apologize about last night's confrontation."

Elisa remains resolute in her pursuit to reach the Map Chamber, maintaining her steady stride without slowing down. Sebastian, however, is persistent, repeatedly asking, "Eli, can we please talk?"
