"Eat you'll feel better"
-Remus Lupin
Elisa awakens early in the morning. She is as rested as can be, but she feels the overwhelming pressure of balancing the trials, classes and studying for N.E.W.T.S.Elisa stood inside the Slytherin common room, watching the sea creatures swishing around the depths of the Black Lake.
Naturally, she has a book in hand to study her notes for herbology, as she has a group project with Marvolo's unfortunate partner.
Mesmerized by the crackling fire keeping the chilly common room warm, she hears footsteps in the distance.
"Morning, Elisa."
"Anne, what are you doing up this early?"
Elisa observes Anne and notices her complexion is a bit paler than usual. Although Anne still suffers from the curse Rookwood placed on her, she has learned to have more control over it.
"I can ask you the same. You didn't go to dinner last night. I take it you were held up in the trial."
" Yes, I was indeed."
Anne walks up to Elisa and notices the fresh scars she must have endured from her most recent trial; she runs a finger over one close to her eye.
"Does it hurt?"
Elisa shrugs her shoulders, holds Anne's hand, and looks deep into those familiar eyes—the same hazel eyes that bring her comfort. Not only had she grown close to the twin brother, but she felt a sisterhood with Anne.
" Nothing I'm not used to at this point — I've endured much worse, honestly."
Elisa notices Anne's slightly paler complexion. She tilts her head further, examining the twin in front of her.
"Anne, are you not feeling well? You seem a bit off."
Anne waves her hand to Elisa.
"Don't worry about me, Elisa. It's nothing I haven't been dealing with for the past two years."
"Anne, you know we're always going to worry about you until we find a cure for you."
Before Elisa can react, she's interrupted by an abrupt coughing fit from Anne. Her brows furrow, a mix of concern and worry on her face. She reaches out instinctively, placing a hand on Anne's shoulder.
"Anne... are you alright? That cough sounds concerning."
Concern etched on Elisa's face, she quickly reacts, guiding Anne to a nearby chair, her supportive presence comforting support. She wraps a blanket around Anne, noticing how cold radiates from her skin.
