"There are no strange creatures. Only blinkered people."-Newt Scammander
Sebastian and Elisa step into the peaceful environment of the meadow vivarium, the smaller magical creatures scampering and fluttering about. Sebastian gently lowers Aila to the ground, letting her explore."There you go, Aila, your new home for now," Elisa pondered.
As the puppy takes her first steps into the Vivarium, she sniffs the air and glances around curiously, her eyes wide with excitement. She barks happily before trotting off to explore her surroundings.
"Aila has adapted surprisingly quickly to her new surroundings. It seems like she feels right at home already."
With a graceful flick of her wand, Elisa conjures up a cozy nook for Aila to rest in. The nook is lined with soft, plushy materials and topped with a fluffy pillow, creating the perfect spot for the puppy to curl up and unwind.
"This will suit a puppy like her, and we can easily adapt it as she grows bigger."
Sebastian watches Aila make herself comfortable, circling a few times before settling down. Her eyes are already drooping with exhaustion.
"Looks like someone is exhausted from the adventure she was on today," Sebastian murmurs.
"Indeed, that's what it looks like. I will need to inform Professor Weasley. Something tells me if I talk to Headmaster Black about the dog on Hogwarts grounds, it won't go well."
Sebastian reaches for Elisa's hand. "Well, we better get back down to the dungeons before the prefects start making their rounds."
Sebastian and Elisa are about to exit the Vivarium when Deek enters. His eyes immediately lock onto Aila. The house-elves' expression turns stern as he looks at Elisa, knowing that dogs are strictly prohibited on Hogwarts grounds.
"Deek–" Elisa begins hesitantly, anticipating the lecture coming her way.
Deek clears his throat, his voice carrying a hint of concern. "Ms. Elisa, dogs are not permitted on Hogwarts grounds. You know that..."
"Yes, Deek, I understand, and you have my word. I will talk with Professor Weasley tomorrow morning about Aila."
"Very well; I trust you will address this with Professor Weasley tomorrow morning. We can't have a puppy wandering the castle willy-nilly."
He looks over at Aila again, his eyes softening a bit. "She is quite cute, though."
Deek turns his attention to Elisa and Sebastian, knowing that the prefects are out on their nightly rounds. He gives them a knowing look before speaking up.
