Thank you for choosing to dive into my fanfiction. Before you begin, there are a few things I'd like to share:
1. This is my very first fanfic, and as English is not my native language, you might come across some spelling, grammatical, narrative, or punctuation errors. I'm still learning and improving my writing skills, so I appreciate your understanding and patience.
2. My original character (OC) experiences a wide range of events throughout this story. She has her ups and downs—there will be moments when you might dislike her and others when you'll empathize with her actions.
I've envisioned Madelaine Petsch as the perfect portrayal of my OC. While she and Klaus will gradually develop a friendship, her true love lies with Kol, leading to a slow-burn romance interwoven with the growth of other friendships and rivalries.
3. The story picks up where Episode 22 of Season 2 and continues into the beginning of Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries.
4. I won’t be rehashing all the events from the show, as that would be redundant. Instead, expect new characters of my creation, original plotlines, and changes that bring a fresh perspective to the story.
5. Given the journey my OC will embark on, there may be a second book in the future. If you enjoy this story and want a sequel, I’d be thrilled to write one.
6. My story might come across as cheesy compared to others, but I’m simply writing what I love. I hope you’ll appreciate the characters and the narrative and not judge me too harshly. Feel free to comment, vote, and contact me with any suggestions. I truly hope you enjoy it. Love you all!
