Sasha's POV:

The grand ballroom was nothing short of magical. As soon as we stepped through the opulent doors, I was overwhelmed by the sheer elegance of the place. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, golden light over the sea of masked faces. The walls were draped in rich fabrics, and the floor sparkled with a mosaic of colored tiles. It was like stepping into a fairytale.Lucas, looking dashing in his red-black suit, led me through the crowd. His hand was steady on my back, guiding me through the throng of elegantly dressed guests.

I had never been to an event this extravagant, and every corner of the ballroom seemed to whisper luxury. As we made our way to the buffet table, I marveled at the spread before us. Delicate canapés, rich hors d'oeuvres, and an array of decadent desserts were laid out in an elaborate display.

I picked a few treats and sipped on champagne, savoring the bubbles and the delicate flavors of the food. Lucas, always the suave host, chatted with several guests and made introductions. His ease among the crowd was evident, and I found myself admiring his confidence and charm.

"Having a good time?" Lucas asked, his voice warm and inviting as he refilled my glass.

"Absolutely," I replied, my eyes sparkling with excitement. "This is incredible. I've never been to anything like this before."Lucas smiled, a glint of satisfaction in his eyes. "I'm glad you're enjoying it. These events are a bit of a tradition for me, but seeing you here makes it special."We mingled with the other guests, laughing and enjoying the evening.

I noticed that Lucas had a way of making everyone feel at ease. His conversations were engaging, and his presence seemed to light up the room. I was content to be by his side, feeling like I was in the midst of something truly extraordinary.

The evening progressed with music and dancing. The orchestra played a beautiful waltz, and the guests began to gather on the dance floor.

Lucas took my hand and led me out onto the floor. The gentle strains of the music surrounded us, and as we began to move in sync, I felt a thrill of joy. Lucas's movements were graceful and confident, and I followed his lead, feeling like I was floating in the air. His touch was firm yet tender, and I leaned into him, resting my head against his shoulder. The world seemed to shrink down to just the two of us, spinning in our own little bubble of happiness.

"This is perfect," I whispered, looking up at him with a smile.Lucas's eyes softened as he gazed back at me. "You look stunning tonight. I'm glad we're here together."We danced through several songs, lost in the rhythm and in each other's company.

The rest of the world seemed to fade away, leaving just us and the music. I felt like a princess in a fairytale, with Lucas as my dashing prince.Eventually, the music slowed, and couples began to disperse. Ashley and I decided to take a break and headed to the ladies' room.

The grandeur of the ballroom was replaced by the sleek, polished elegance of the bathroom.  The room was filled with the soft hum of conversation and the clinking of jewelry.Ashley gave me a warm hug. "I'll be out in a few. Take your time," she said before leaving me alone in front of the mirror.

I started to touch up my makeup, my mind drifting as I replayed the evening's events. The night had been perfect so far, and I was eager to enjoy more of it. I applied a bit of lipstick and checked my hair, adjusting a few stray curls. It was then that the door opened, and a man walked in. I didn't recognize him, and his presence felt out of place.

"This is the ladies' room," I said, trying to sound polite but also slightly puzzled. The man nodded, his gaze fixed on me. There was something unsettling about his demeanor, and I felt a chill run down my spine. Before I could react, he moved swiftly, placing his hand over my mouth. I tried to scream, but his grip silenced me.

My heart raced as he dragged me towards the door.I struggled, trying to break free, but he was stronger. He led me outside, and I was shoved into the trunk of a car. The cold metal against my back sent a shiver through me. My mind raced as I tried to remember every turn we took, every bump in the road. In the darkness of the trunk, I could only hope that Lucas would find me.

I wished desperately that he would come to my rescue, that he would somehow know something was wrong. The fear and helplessness were overwhelming, but my thoughts were focused on one thing: Lucas.

"Please, Lucas," I thought, tears welling up in my eyes. "Please find me."The car's engine roared to life, and the journey continued, my thoughts a tangled mess of fear and hope.
