"Longing for a Lost Star"
A word I whisper, a wish to rewind,
To change back time, and leave heartache behind.
Would anything be different, if I could turn the tide?
Or would the same paths cross, with fate's persistent stride?Oh, to grasp that star, shining bright and fair,
Echoing in memory, with beauty beyond compare.
Yet, it's so far away, a distant, flickering light,
My only friend, a longing companion, through endless night. If only desires could inspire, rather than aspire,
To reach the unattainable, and quell the heart's dark fire.
If only love could bloom, in a warm and gentle place,
A home to call my own, where heart and soul entwine in space.Forever etched in memory, a bittersweet refrain,
A longing that remains, a love that cannot wane.
A beacon in the darkness, guiding me through the pain,
A shining star, that forever holds its radiant gain.
