Rohit, Aditi, and Rishabh were gathered around the police officer, who was lying on a hospital bed, his body covered in bandages. The three of them had expressions of anger and disappointment on their faces. The atmosphere in the hospital room was tense and charged with emotions. Shubman was told to rest but ofcourse he went to meet Ishan.

The officer, despite his weakened state, met their gazes with defiance. He knew he was caught and faced the consequences of his actions, but he refused to show any signs of remorse or guilt.

"Why did you do it?" Rohit asked, his voice filled with a mixture of anger and frustration. He had a thousand questions on his mind, but the primary one he wanted an answer to was the officer's motivation behind his actions.

The officer didn't respond immediately, his eyes darting around the room before landing back on Rohit. "I had my reasons," he replied cryptically, offering no specific explanation.

Rohit clenched his jaw, frustrated by the officer's vague answer. "Reasons? What kind of reasons would justify your actions?" he asked, his voice rising in volume.

The officer shifted uncomfortably on the hospital bed, his expression betraying a hint of guilt and fear. "I was protecting myself," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I had no choice."

Aditi's eyes narrowed, disbelief written all over her face. "Protecting yourself? How does that justify anything?" she questioned, her voice laced with a mix of anger and confusion.

The officer hesitated for a moment, his mind racing for an explanation that could make them understand. "You don't understand" he said, his voice taking on a defensive tone.

Rohit, Aditi, and Rishabh knew they needed to get to the bottom of the situation, and they wouldn't let the officer's vague responses suffice. They were determined to get the whole truth out of him and leave no stone unturned.

"We want the full truth, no more excuses," Rohit said firmly, taking a step closer to the bedside. "We want to know everything, from start to finish. Don't leave out a single detail."

The officer looked up at them, his eyes darting nervously from one person to another. He knew they were serious and wouldn't let him avoid the details. After a moment of hesitation, he sighed and started to speak.
"I'll tell you everything but you have to reduce my punishments.."

Rohit, Aditi, and Rishabh exchanged glances, considering the officer's request. They didn't want to agree to anything without knowing all the details, but they could tell that he was finally willing to cooperate.

"We'll see about the punishment based on what you have to say," Rohit said carefully. "Just give us the whole truth, and no more lies."

The officer nodded, a mixture of resignation and relief on his face. "Alright, I'll tell you everything," he said, his voice a bit more steady. "But I need you to keep your word."

Rohit crossed his arms, his expression resolute. "We'll consider it," he replied. "Now start from the beginning. We're listening."

"Varun Mishra Sir " the officer began, his voice filled with a mixture of regret and resignation. "When he was alive, I worked for him. We had a partnership, one that involved some... unethical practices."

He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts, before continuing, "We were involved in illegal activities, mostly related to drug trafficking and extortion. Sir was the one who initiated it, and I was just a pawn following his orders."

Rishabh, who had been listening intently, couldn't help but ask a question that had been bothering him. "How could you, as a police officer, get involved in such illegal activities? Weren't you sworn to uphold the law?"
