The news of Ishan's verdict spread through the country like wildfire, leaving a trail of shock, anger, and turmoil in its wake. Initially, there were factions that supported the verdict, claiming it was justified and necessary for national security. However, as more people learned about the case, the backlash grew stronger. Most people began to oppose the verdict, feeling it was unjust and unfair.

people began asking questions. They wondered if the jury had given such a harsh punishment to cover up their mistakes or to silence the victim and ensure their secrets were kept hidden. Conspiracy theories and speculation ran rampant, and the public demanded answers.

With the buzz around Ishan's case, other victims began to speak up. They claimed that Ishan's actions were done in self-defense and that he only acted in order to protect himself. They argued that if the police had helped him earlier, Ishan would never have been forced into such a situation.

The public began to question the role of the police and how they mishandled the  case. The victims' voices were heard loud and clear, adding more fuel to the fire of public outrage.

Despite the growing voices in support of Ishan, the central issue remained – the lack of concrete proof to back up his statement. The absence of evidence to support his claims made it difficult to establish his innocence. The court and the public, despite their doubts, struggled to find solid proof that Ishan was telling the truth.

Shubman quickly dressed and made his way to the office, driven by a mix of curiosity and desperation to learn more about Ishan. He couldn't ignore the possibility of new information about Ishan, no matter how exhausted or emotional he felt.

As he entered the office and swung open the door, he spotted the lady seated patiently at his desk, waiting for him. Her presence immediately caught his attention, and he approached her with a mix of caution and curiosity.

Shubman took a closer look at the lady, a sense of recognition dawned upon him. He remembered her, she was Ishan's caretaker. The memories of their brief encounter during one of his visits to Ishan's home came flooding back, filling his mind with a mixture of surprise and intrigue.

Despite his initial recollection of the carer, Shubman braced himself for the conversation ahead. The recent verdict and outcome of Ishan's case had left a bitter taste in his mouth, and he was prepared for a heated argument or harsh words from the woman.

He walked slowly towards his seat and sat down, a hint of surprise on his face as he observed the lady's calm demeanor. Given the circumstances, he had expected her to be visibly upset or angry. Instead, she appeared composed, which only heightened his curiosity.

"I know you're angry and upset about the jury's decision regarding Ishan. Believe me, I understand your pain, but there's nothing we can do. Going against the jury would be useless" Shubman spoke softly, looking down at the table as a pang of guilt washed over him.

The room fell silent for a few moments as his words hung in the air. The lady continued to sit calmly, her expression unreadable but not outwardly showing anger or sadness. After a few seconds, she spoke, her voice gentle and measured.

"You misunderstand me.... I'm not here to argue or fight."

Shubman looked up, surprised by her response. He had expected her to lash out or protest, but her calm demeanor piqued his curiosity even further.

"Then why are you here?" Shubman asked, his voice slightly puzzled. He leaned forward in his chair, studying her expression and trying to gauge her intentions.

The lady's gaze met Shubman's, her tone calm and composed. "I came here seeking not for an argument, but for answers. I have a few questions that I desperately need to ask you."
