“Like I said to your son earlier, any information about the prosthetics we build is strictly confidential. Without the client's consent, I simply can't help you.” The doctor guy said to them. “Well, we can't get consent if you don't give us a name.” Five snarked growing tired of him. “Well, that's not my problem. Sorry. Now, there's really nothing more I can do, so...” “And what about my consent?” Klaus said suddenly. I looked at him confused. “Excuse me?” the doctor asked. “Who gave you permission...to lay your hands... on my son and my wife?” he continued. “What?” “You heard me.” “I didn't touch your son or your wife.” “Oh, really? Well, then how did he get that swollen lip and she get a red cheek, then?” I finally understood where this was going. I smirked. “He doesn't have a swollen...” Suddenly Klaus stood up and punched Five and slapped me. “Ouch.” I mumbled. Ben who was watching from the side didn’t look happy from the scene. “I want it. Name, please. Now” Klaus demanded. “You're crazy.” “You got no idea. ‘Peace on Earth.’ That's so sweet.” Klaus said grabbing the snow globe on the counter and smashing it on his head. “God, that hurt!” he mumbled painfully. The doctor grabbed the phone to call security. I used my powers on him and stopped him. “I don’t think so.” I smirked. “Now, here's what's gonna happen, Grant.” Klaus continued. “It's... Lance.” “In about 60 seconds, two security guards are gonna burst through that door, and they're gonna see a whole lot of blood, and they're gonna wonder, ‘What the hell happened?’ And we're gonna tell them that you...beat the shit out of us. You're gonna do great in prison, Grant. Trust me, I've been there. Little piece of chicken like you. Oh, my God, you're gonna get passed around like a... You're just... You're gonna do great. That's all I'm saying.”  “Jesus, you are a real sick bastard.” I rolled my eyes already getting bored. “Chop Chop Grant. We don’t have much time.” I said using my mind control on him. “Couldn’t you have done that earlier?” Five asked annoyed. “And miss Klaus’s legendary performance?” Five just rolled his eyes mumbling under his breath. “Seriously love?” Ben shook his head. He was still pissed at Klaus for hitting you. “Oh, that's strange.” Lance said suddenly. “What?” “Uh, the eye. It hasn't been purchased by a client yet.” “What? What do you mean?” “Well, uh, our logs say that the eye with that serial number... This can't be right. It hasn't even been manufactured yet. Where did you get that eye?”

“Well, this is not good.” Five said walking out of the hospital. “I was pretty good, though, right? ‘Yeah. What about my consent, bitch?’” Klaus said giggling. “Klaus, it doesn't matter.” “What? What? What's the big deal with this eye, anyway?” “Yeah Five, you had this eye at Vanya’s place too. What’s up with that?” I asked curiously. Maybe he has a secret hobby of collecting eyeballs… Five had always been weird. I thought. “There is someone out there who's going to lose an eye in the next seven days. They're gonna bring about the end of life on this Earth as we know it.” he revealed. I was shocked. So the person responsible for the apocalypse is the owner of the eye. “Yeah, can I get that 20 bucks, like, now, or what?” Klaus said. “Seriously? This is important Klaus.” I said annoyed. “Your 20 bucks?” Five asked angrily. “Yeah, my 20 bucks.” “The apocalypse is coming, and all you can think about is getting high?” “Well, I'm also quite hungry. Tummy’s a-rumblin'.” Klaus said doing a weird hand gesture. Ben looked at him disappointed. “You're useless. You're all useless!” Five said sitting down. “You need to lighten up, old man. Hey, you know, I've just now realized why you're so uptight. You must be horny as hell! All those years by yourself. It's gotta screw with your head, being alone.” Both Ben and I gave him a weird look. “Well... I wasn't alone.” “Oh? Pray tell.” I could hear Five’s thoughts soften up a little. “Her name was Delores. We were together for over 30 years.” “Oh wow Five… that’s wonderful. Really happy for you.” I said softly smiling. I was happy to know he wasn’t all alone. “Thirty years? Oh, wow! God, the longest I've been with someone was... I don't know, three weeks. And that's only because I was so tired of looking for a place to sleep. He did make the most fantastic osso buco, though. It was...” Klaus continued but Five was already gone. “Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, what about my money?” Klaus yelled but Five just waved at him. “Come on I’ll buy you something on the way.” I said walking off with Ben following right beside me.

Back at the academy I was sitting on my old bed. Klaus was somewhere doing his own thing, so Ben was hanging out with me. Just like old times. “You still have this? “He asked seeing the old copy of Pride and Prejudice lying on the bed. I smiled. “Yeah… I found it here… I had left it behind when I left.” “How was it? I mean… your life? You finally achieved your dream. A fashion designer with your own brand. That’s a great achievement.” Ben asked sitting down next to me. “It’s alright…” I shrugged. “Are you happy?” he asked. “Happy… I’m not unhappy…” “But are you happy?” he asked again. “Did you… move on? Find love again?” he asked softly almost as if he’s scared to hear my answer. “Love… no. Moving on from you is impossible Ben.” I said softly. “Yes… occasional dates… some regretful hookups when I was drunk but no. I could never forget you. Every night, I dream of you. Of us. What we could have been. Sometimes nightmares…” I continued. “…You know I don’t want you to suffer right? I want you to be happy. I know we can’t be together. I’m dead.” I flinched. “But you’re still alive. I want you to live your life. Even if it’s not with me.” Ben said softly. “Ben no… don’t tell me to move on ok? I can’t. I don’t want to. It’s you or nothing. You’re here with me now. That’s all that matters. You’re with me again. That’s all I care about.” I said crying softly. Ben gently touched my face trying to wipe my tears but it went right through me. I almost… almost felt a cold sensation on my cheeks. I looked up at him. “Can I tell you something?” He whispered, almost as if he’s telling something intimate. “I want you to be happy. But I know it would kill me again if I ever saw you with another guy.” He whispered. “You don’t have to worry about that. There is no other guy.” I whispered back leaning towards him. I closed my eyes slowly drifting to sleep in the comfort of his presence.
