Staisy , a high schooler trying to live her life , trying to forget the traumatising event that took place 5 years ago in Oakdale , where she didn't want to return in her lifetime but her twisted past had other plans .
Will she face her trauma ?
Wha...
"Um.. I was just searching for the washroom " I said . Rebbeca took a glance of me standing but couldn't find anything beside me and I am sure she does not suspect me " " Yeah , no problem, the washroom's that way " She said . " Oh! Yeah ok , I'll be going there then ."
After I washed my face with cold water , I still couldn't believe Rebbeca was behind all this . Like how . I need to go to Daisy .
"Daisy," I said, catching her eye. "We need to talk, now." Her smile faltered as she saw the urgency in my face. "What's wrong?" "Not here. It's important. Can we step outside?" I said, glancing around to ensure no one was eavesdropping. We found a quiet spot in the garden behind the house, away from the prying eyes of the party guests. I pulled out my phone and showed Daisy the photos and printed pages I had taken from Rebecca's room. Daisy's eyes widened as she studied the images. "These are... us. And look at that! It's from the shop we visited yesterday." "Exactly. I didn't have time to read everything, but Rebecca seems to have been following us closely. And those pictures—why would she have them?" Daisy's brows furrowed. "It's like she's been keeping tabs on us. But why? And how did she get involved in all this?" "I don't know, but it looks like Rebecca is more than she appears. There might be more to her connection with Ellisa than we thought. We need to find out what she's hiding." Daisy nodded, her determination mirroring mine. "We should try to confront her, but we need to be careful. If she's involved in something shady, she might not be easy to deal with." "Agreed. Let's see if we can get more information first. Maybe she left something behind that can give us a clue." We decided to head back into the house, but with a renewed sense of vigilance. The reunion was no longer just a social event; it had become a backdrop for our investigation. We needed to stay alert, gather more evidence, and uncover Rebecca's true intentions As the reunion party continued downstairs, Daisy and I retreated to the sanctuary of Rebecca's room. The vibrant laughter and clinking glasses from the main event seemed like a distant echo as we slipped inside the dimly lit room. The door closed behind us with a soft click, isolating us from the revelry.
I glanced around the room once more, noting the neatness of Rebecca's space—the orderly shelves, the well-made bed, and the carefully arranged photographs on the walls. Despite the calm, a tense energy crackled in the air. We were on the cusp of uncovering something that could change everything.
"Alright, let's be quick and thorough," Daisy whispered as we approached the cupboard. I nodded, my heart pounding with both anticipation and anxiety.
Daisy pulled open the cupboard's doors and began sifting through its contents. I followed suit, rifling through drawers and examining every nook and cranny. Our search was methodical, but time was of the essence. The items in the room seemed mundane at first—dresses, shoes, old letters—but then Daisy's fingers brushed against something hidden behind a false panel.
She paused, eyes widening as she felt a small, concealed compartment. "Staisy, look at this!" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
I moved closer, my curiosity peeked . Daisy carefully opened the panel with curious precision, revealing a small, ornate box tucked inside. The box was intricately carved, with swirling patterns and delicate floral designs. It seemed out of place among the otherwise ordinary items.
