Daisy and I sat in the dimly lit living room, the evidence from our investigation spread out before us. The room, usually a haven of relaxation, now felt like the center of a complex puzzle. The weight of our discoveries hung heavily in the air as we prepared for our next steps.

"Let's prioritize our tasks," Daisy said, her voice steady and focused. "We need to send the leave application to our school, continue researching Ellisa, and build a detailed suspect list."

I nodded in agreement. "I'll draft the leave application. Can you take charge of the suspect list and look into Ellisa's possible hints?"

Daisy agreed and began organizing her notes, while I pulled out my laptop to write the leave application. As I typed out the formal request, I couldn't shake the feeling that time was of the essence. We needed to stay one step ahead to solve the mystery .

The leave application was straightforward, explaining our need to be absent from school due to "urgent personal matters." I sent it off to our school's administration, hoping they wouldn't question our sudden disappearance too closely.

With that task complete, I turned my attention to helping Daisy with the suspect list. Our main suspects were Rebecca Dason and Gregory Lane. As we discussed their potential motives and connections, I started jotting down additional notes.

"Rebecca's involvement with the charity makes her a prime suspect," Daisy said, her eyes scanning the documents. "But Gregory Lane is a wildcard. His financial ties and connections could mean he's more deeply involved than we initially thought."

"Agreed," I said. "We should dig deeper into both of their backgrounds. We need to understand their relationships, potential motives, and any other connections they might have."

Daisy set up her laptop to research further. I could see her typing furiously, searching for more information on Rebecca and Gregory. Meanwhile, I started reviewing our collected evidence, looking for any overlooked details that might provide new insights and planned to visit Ellisa's house after our research , for more information.

Hours passed as we worked tirelessly. Daisy uncovered more about Gregory Lane's business dealings. He was involved in several companies, including some with bad reputations. One of these companies, named "Silvercrest Enterprises," had been linked to multiple financial scandals and shady dealings.

"Silvercrest Enterprises," Daisy said, her voice tinged with excitement. "This could be a crucial link. If Gregory is involved with this company, it might explain his financial connections to Rebecca."

I reviewed the information Daisy provided. Silvercrest Enterprises was a major player in the financial scandals, and its involvement in questionable activities could be a significant lead. "We need to verify Gregory's exact role in Silvercrest and how it ties into Rebecca's operations."

Daisy nodded. "I'll look into that. In the meantime, let's review any other documents related to 'Future Horizons' and see if there's anything we missed."

We shifted our focus back to the charity's records. One document caught my eye: an email exchange between Rebecca and several high-profile donors. The emails discussed large donations and strategic partnerships, but one email stood out. It mentioned an upcoming "fundraising event" and hinted at "special projects" that required secrecy.

"This email is interesting," I said. "It suggests there's more going on behind the scenes. We need to find out what these 'special projects' are."

Daisy agreed. "I'll see if there are any details about the event or the projects. In the meantime, we should continue looking into Ellisa. There might be a clue or hint she left behind."
