It was one of the coldest days in New York. I had just gotten to the coffee shop I started going to. I've been to plenty of other coffee shops, but this one made the best cappuccino's I've ever had here.

I decided to take the day off from work and focus on trying to finish this book I was reading. I never made time for myself and one of my dearest friends recommended this book to me so I could.

The book was horrible, but it's the thought that counts, I guess.

As I was reading while drinking my coffee, I noticed a very tall figure walking in. he had on a perfectly tailored dark blue suit. His luscious long dark wavy hair sat on his head perfectly, almost to his shoulders. His face looks like it was created by a Greek god. He stood at the cash register, hovering over the cashier.

Me and the cashier are the same height.

I feel like I've seen his face before, but I couldn't put my mind to it. He stood to the side as he was on his phone. He then looks up and we make eye contact quickly. I look back down at my book, pretending to read. Before I could look back up, one of the workers called out a name.

"Noah!"

The man looks up from the phone and walks over to where his coffee was placed, giving the workers a small smile before walking towards the door. Before he leaves, he looks back at me one more time before leaving.

Noah.
