I had been ignoring Raya's calls since our interaction with Nova. She's been calling me back to back, but I've ignored every single one of them.

I then decided to go see Nova at the bar she was at. I knew the owner and he had messaged me saying she was there. So I took the opportunity to finally speak to her. It felt weird having a conversation with her, it was like two awkward teenagers who like each other.

As I walked out to my car, I got a phone call. I picked up after a few rings. "Hello?" I say. "Hey, it's Zryan".

Zryan? How the hell did he get my number? Oh wait, his girlfriend.

"Hey man" I say as I stepped into my car. "Look, me and Serenity are having a party this weekend and I wanted to invite you" he says. me and Zryan weren't the closest people but we weren't enemies. "well I would have to check my calendar but I would like to go". I honestly didn't want to go, but the chances of Nova being there was high. And after seeing her today made my obsession grow bigger.

"great, just text me if your free, but try to do it by Thursday. Serenity hates last minute guest" he says. I chuckle at his response. We ended the call and I was still sitting in the bar parking lot. I stood there for a moment and then a moment turned into two, and I was suddenly fast asleep.

"Shit!". I ran up the stairs to our bedroom to see Nova at her desk with her face in her palms. I then see the now broken glass of water on the floor. "Baby, what happened?" I asked. She runs her hands down her face as she looks down, refusing to face me. "Nothing". She then gets up from her chair and goes down to pick up the broken glass. I also go down to help. "Noah, I don't need your help picking this up". I stayed quiet and just continued to pick up the glass. We then both walked to the trash can and dumped it in.

Nova starts walking back to the room, but I grab her arm before she does. She looks back at me, knowing exactly what's about to happen. "Nova, get on the couch" I demand. She stands there for a few seconds before going to the couch as I followed behind. I sat right beside her. We then sat in silence, waiting for her to break it. "I'm just stressed over work" she finally says. "Baby, you're overworking yourself. You need to rest". She shakes her head. "I can't just rest. I have a career, a boyfriend, and a reckless little sister I'm still having to look after".

I put my arm around her for comfort. "You know I'm going to be here for you right?" I say. I see a small smile creep up her face as I said that. "yes, I do Noah". I smile back at her, while still having my arm around her. She then leans her head onto my shoulder, but something felt more different. We sat in silence for awhile, until she broke it. "I love you"

I love you.

We have only been dating for around 4 months, and in those 4months she has never said I love you. She always said it was because she never says it until she's ready, and also because she hasn't had a boyfriend in so long, she still was adjusting. I knew I loved her around the 2 month mark, but I respected her.

I sit her up, facing her to me. A bright smile forms on my face. I cup her face and pull her in for a kiss. She started giggling at my reaction, not knowing this is something I've been waiting for.

"I love yo..."

I jumped out of my sleep. I look around and see I fell asleep in the parking lot of the bar. I felt hot and sweaty, like I was just in a tanning bed. I pull out my phone to see it was getting late. Luckily I wasn't asleep for too long because the dream I was havin-

The dream.

I haven't had a dream about Nova in a while. No wonder I felt flustered, it was because I dreamt of her. I run my hands down my face, this is going to be fucking awful. I then remembered that I also had to check my calendar.

I quickly pull out my phone and see I had a meeting with someone who wasn't even important during the weekend. I quickly cancel the meetings. I then go to my contacts and find Zryan. I then texted him my final answer.

I'll be there Thursday morning.
