"Sup Hailey, thanks for spending time with me." I said as we met up for coffee, starting the order with a hot cocoa.

"How's Julie?" I asked Hailey, to which she nodded slowly.

"She's good. Her Sydney boyfriends doing well, and she's well looked after by Aaron and Joshua at school." Hailey, her older sister told me as she snapped a chocolate cookie in half, handing one over to me.

"Thanks for teaching me your Dojutsu, your eyes helped us locate my husband." She said, her eyes turning bright pink briefly as I grabbed the other half.

"Careful sis, your eyes can invoke envy amongst women who seek after its powers." I said, frowning as I took a bite off the cookie.

"You can't be showing off your powers in public, it's considered shameful amongst those who have traversed, the Lin-Kuei just to name a few if you're family is trying to impress them." Hailey groaned painfully as she leaned back on her seat, casually dilating her pupils so that they turned pink, then back to her hazel irises.

"Fine." She said, taking a bite off her cookie.

"Besides, if you wanted to know, the Tomae Eyes turn red; not pink." I said simply.

"Why is that? Am I special or something?" She asked me, to which I shrugged.

"The Tomae Eyes after witnessing a loved one die turn pink, allowing you to contact the dead once you've witnessed death itself." The thought caused Hailey to panic.

"Don't be afraid, I paid for it. The eyes are yours." I said, smiling. I could never help but find Hailey's sensitivity to anything controversial comedic.

"Besides I like red." I said as I shifted my eyes to red as we briefly shared each others gaze.

"You're a hypocrite for telling me I can't do it in public when you can." She groaned, putting her hot chocolate aside.

"Haha, I'll just do a mission for the Lin-Kuei for my pardon, no biggie." I shrugged asking the waiter for another cookie.

"When are you going to stop, Julie's been asking."

"When am I going to stop traversing? Once my brother gets what he desires, then I'll stop. It could be awhile- you know; world domination and all."

"But if it goes overboard eventually my family will have to step in, and I won't be afraid to use these eyes to take you down." Hailey said, and for once I felt that she was serious; after all she was always the joker of the family.

"I'm aware of that, but he's my brother, and I promised him the world after all."

"You're stupid. Let's hope it doesn't come with conditions that Julie has to put up with." Hailey rolled her eyes.

"Is she happy at least?" I asked.

"It's not whether or not she's happy, it's the fact that you put her last."

"If I don't keep a close eye on my brother he can go overboard with his ambition, world domination is not designed for someone who has ill intentions, and till this day can never tell what goes on in my brothers mind." I exclaimed, to which Hailey sighed.

"Doesn't hurt to try and make more effort with her."

"Anything for my sister in law." I said sheepishly.
