Warming up was boring, just a bunch of students groaning and moaning as they stretched their sore muscles and joints.

The fun part was when the weapons came out.

Swords clashing, arrows hitting targets, guns being fired... It was crazy, but it was fun. They were split into pairs, which weren't really randomized at all. An example of this was William being paired with Christopher, which always ended in disaster.

"First time using a dagger?" Ophelia exclaimed excitedly, a wide grin on her face as she handed a dagger to Delilah.

"Uhm... Yeah, I guess..." Delilah replied, her voice slightly hesitant as she unsheathed the blade.

"...What's up? You seem nervous or something," Ophelia acknowledged, her head tilting.

"I'm fine, it's just... I've never seen a girl as... cheery as you seem this excited to be holding a weapon like that."

"Oh, well, I like knives! They're cool, aren't they?"

"Please don't smile while saying that..."

"Hey... Think fast!"

Ophelia immediately tackled Delilah to the floor, blade exposed as she tried to take control of the situation. Delilah's adrenaline began to pump, and she grabbed Ophelia's ponytail, flipping her over and pinning her down instead.

"Didn't your trainers teach you about your hair? Never make it grabbable. I'd recommend a bun. Or just go bald and save yourself the trouble," Delilah chuckled, aiming the tip of her blade at Ophelia's jugular.

"Well played. You're not half bad when it comes to your reaction time..." Ophelia panted, raising her hand up to grip Delilah's wrist. "But is your strength up to par?" she raised an eyebrow before tightening her grip, pulling Delilah's blade away from her neck.
