It's not always your first thought right? But. Your going to spend time with friends, thats way more important then a message.

You put your phone on silent. You had arrived at the arcade? You got out of the car and looked up at the building. "You kids have fun!" Mike calls out as you all started to go to the entrance. "We will." Ashlyn says back and raises her hand as a good bye, after that the group goes over to the arcade.

Everyone had tried to forget what had been said in assembly that day, i mean they are supposed to be celebrating.

"The arcades fun and all..but are you sure you'll be okay ashlyn?" Taylor asks her as she puts on some headphones. "We're supposed to be celebrating, and relieving stress..i dont want you to be uncomfortable the whole time." Taylor continued. (Taylors so sweet i luv her :3)

"Yeah, these are pretty great at cancelling out noise, so i should be fine." Ashlyn reassured her before speaking again. "Plus, I've never been to an arcade so im kinda curious."

"Me too." Logan said as he scratched his cheek with his finger while ben stood beside him like he hadn't been to one either.

Everyone walks into the arcade, your eyes widen in amazement, sure it's smaller than most. But it had all the cool games.

"I bet i can beat you" you hear aiden say to ashlyn and you glance over to where ashlyn was looking, it was ddr. "How much?" Ashlyn says back to him.

"Oh! Oh! I'm good at ddr too!" -Taylor

"I-i know how to..but im not good at it." -Logan

"I'll record it!" -you

You took your phone out and started recording them playing ddr, you smiled at how Logan was gripping the handle not knowing what to do.

After Taylor and Tyler challenged each other at the basketball arcade game, ben and aiden stood beside each other, ben had his hands as two thumbs up for Taylor, while ashlyn was coaching Taylor on how to shoot it and Logan was watching tyler score.

Next was air hockey, ashlyn and tyler were playing. It ended up with tyler hitting the puc to hard and hitting Logan in the face, you couldn't help but snicker at that, of course you asked if he was okay after but it was funny. Luckily Taylor got a picture and shared it to you.

Shooting game.. HOLY SHIT LOGAN WAS TERRIFYINGLY GOOD AT THAT. It was almost funny seeing ben struggling while Logan was just a natural, you got a quick pic of Logan's target

Next was the boxer game.. you punched the boxer arcade game and got a score of 1002, Taylor had managed to get a video of you punching it. Sadly you didnt get any tickets from that game.

Then it was another strength game and ben was playing called punch-out. He punched it really hard and then there was a swarm of tickets that came out, you took a picture of it but it sadly was blurry because of aiden practically jumping into the tickets.

You and laughed a bit. Like you were actually bonding with this group. You couldn't help but smile.

Sometimes it only takes one thing and yet..you all suddenly become closer friends. It's interesting aint it?

Everyone gathers around the tickets everyone had won and collected your eyes lit up when you saw how many there were. "I think this is enough for all of us to split and get decent prizes" Taylor says happily.

Logan had crouched down near the tickets as everyone talked with each other. "I'm getting all of aidens share though since i won ddr." Ashlyn said as aidens eyes widen in shock. "All of it?!"

Ben typed stuff on his phone and the ai voice had read it out. "That means im getting all of y/n's share because i got a higher score then her at punching stuff." You looked over to him in shock. "Wh- no. That's not fair. I didnt agree." You responded.

"I mean he does have a point." Taylor said smiling deviously. "It wasn't even the same game. I did like the boxer shit and he did punch-out!" You defended your tickets.

Taylor was laughing now. "Don't give him your tickets then. You're really competitive you know that?" Taylor said smiling at you.

"Heck yeah i am! Sorry, but yeah i am." You say back to her.

Suddenly a whole load of chatter was starting to be heard, making you turn your head out of curiosity, then that curious it's soon turned into anger as you narrowed your eyes at the group. It was barrons stupid group of friends.

"Fucking bitch, who does he think he is? Who does his barber think they are? Stupid haircut for a stupid person. It's fitting. But it's horrible. He looks like a fucking traffic light, thinking he's on a podium but all he's on a podium for is making becca feel uncomfortable. Honestly. Why cant he just go jump." You started muttering in anger. Luckily the only person who could hear you was ashlyn and she just looked at you concerned but then she turned to look at the group and realisation hit her and she just nodded at you.

You stopped muttering to yourself as you looked back down at Logan to se if he was alright. Logans gaze was already at the group of people. You could see fear in his expression, you looked back over to the group and noticed a new kid in it. You nudged Tyler and motioned your head over to where the group was.

He gave you a confused look but then looked over to the group and his eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Well. That's annoying, what is he doing here" Tyler spoke his arms now crossed as he stared at the group. "Who?" Taylor questions and looks over to where her brother was looking.

Her facial expression immediately dropped once she saw them. "Oh. It's Barron." She says as salty as she could. "I doubt hell do anything the coward hasn't messed with Logan since he's to scared of me 'tattling' to the coach." Tyler says as everyone else got off the floor.

"This morning he tried to ask me to tell Logan something. He clearly is too scared to even talk with Logan now." You added.

"..but still.. its kinda awkward isn't it?" Taylor spoke as she picked up all the tickets from the floor. "We've been here awhile anyways, maybe we should get our prizes and spend the rest of the day at ashlyns?" Taylor suggests as your eyes were still on Barrons group.

"..no." Logan spoke sternly. You looked over at him slightly surprised.

"I dont think the guy with the blue hat is apart of their friend group. Ive seen him with Barron a few times and I wasn't sure at first but.."

"Barron just replaced me with him."
