"Here." Tyler said handing ben a guitar as ben takes it.
"You still remember the chords right? Do i need to go over them one more time?" Tyler questioned ben. "..what?" He asks turning around to everyone else.
"..you've become less of a jerk lately." Ashlyn stated as Tyler raised an eyebrow. "Is that supposed to be a compliment?" Tyler says a bit annoyed, you looked up from your phone listening in to the conversation now until Logan points at text message from miss lena.
"How's the barbecue going? And how's Emma doing?" -miss lena
You quickly typed back.
"Its good and i think Emmas fine."-you
You came out of the messages app and back onto scrolling on tick-tock with Logan looking over your shoulder to see it.
"...anyway how much time is left" Tyler says as he turns his head over to logan. "..um.. about 2 minutes." He answers looking up from your phone, as you turned your phone off and sat down onto the cold floor of the bus.
"We're still going to town tonight right?" Aiden asks as he looked over at ashlyn> "yea, since thats what Logan suggests." She answers.
Flashback
"We should test the distance limit theory before we try to travel a long distance like savannah." Logan stated before turning to the whiteboard with drawings.
"I'm pretty sure if we travel to far in the real world, then these bodies reset to the same location our originals are at. If thats true im wondering if the same thing will happen with our original bodies if we travel too far here?" Logan suggests before turning back to the others.
"But in order to test that, we need a safe place to stay in the phantom dimension for a night. So that when the shift happens, we are far enough away right?" Ashlyn question and Logan nods in agreement.
"Yeah thats why i think we need to scout around the area for a place first before we can test the theory." Logan replies.
End of flashback.
Beeep
In the phantom dimension
"Was that the rest of the backup supplies" ashlyn asks aiden while you rubbed your eyes. "Yep!" He answers back as ashlyn nods. "Then were good to go." She says.
"Wait- no. I need to get something." You say rushing out of the bus to see if it was still there. You had brought along your motorcycle a couple days ago because like hell are you going in the boot of the jeep. "Okayyy, it's fine." You answers back as you came back inside.
After the backup supplies have been loaded in the car you grabbed a jacket, put your hair up and put on your helmet. The plan was that you would drive infront of the car since you had the brighter lights.
As you hop onto your motorcycle ashlyn yelled over to you. "Do you have your lights ready y/n?" She asks as you do a thumbs up and put your other glove on. As the gate started to open you sped off waiting for ashlyn to honk the horn to make sure Aiden was safe.
You switched on your headlights, you heard the honk and aiden got into the car, the car had caught up to you and you sped up again. You started to speak into the walkers talkie.
"We're driving two hours right?" -you
"Yes. Me and my grandparents go there often to the antique shops, so im familiar with the location and how to get there im not sure if title be far enough away, but i think its a good place to start off." -Logan
There was no talking between you and the people in the car for the rest of the time. You had the gps on your phone silently hoping that your phone wont die. It's weird you would expect that you would see more phantoms the farther we get from the graveyard but you've barely seen even one.
It's really eerie.. i don't like this.. you thought as you took a turn. There has to be something more to this..
