Hey guys welcome to chapter 22 :)

“Are you guys all in position” Kijo inquired from the men ready to attack

“I need ten men to head towards the East, ten to the west, five to the North and the twenty other people remaining follow me to the South”

“The wedding party is taking place in the south and we are attacking during the party, when all of them will not be on guard or alert “ Kijo said as he gave instructions

Just as he said they all moved to their various positions with their variations of weapons and prepared for their attack

They brought with them the different weapons they carved, put together, made with Magic and invented while they prepared for their attack when they were in their new home.

“This is going to be so much fun!” 

“My lovely Mirlinde you are going to know your place and know what it feels when the most important things are taken away from you”

Kijo Smirked

“Alright boys look out for any guard you see around you can happily delete them off the list of the living”

“We do not want any obstacles now do we, " he said as he tapped the shoulders of the men still around him.

With his command passed to the different men he brought, they killed and knocked off all the guards they said with no noise or alarm and they all stayed in position ready for the attack during the wedding party.

Mirlinde and Xander both had their widest smiles as they took part in the wedding ceremonies as both of them were still in awe at each of their looks.

As they knelt down the wise woman came up the stage to officiate their wedding and carry out the necessary ceremonies with them. While the wise woman was mumbling something to the crowd Xander looked towards Mirlinde and smiled softly which made her blush. He held held her hands softly leaning towards her and whispering in her ears saying;

“With the way we both look today and how long we have waited I won’t be surprised if we both lose control when we are alone”

“Xander stop being a pervert” Mirlinde scream hitting him softly and forgetting that  they were both in the middle of their ceremony

“Hey you two couldn’t you wait and at least respect your own ceremony by pushing your antics aside” The wise woman said scolding them, and that gained soft giggling from the whole crowd

“Don't mind these bride groom there are still going through puberty and are still immature” She teased

“Maa” both Mirlinde and Xander said to the old woman pouting

“Now let's get into business, you two it's time to stand up and seek blessing from each relation you have left feet”

With that Mirlinde and Xander did as they were told and they were both hugged by each other's relatives (Mirlinde’s mum and Xander’s cousin), Mirlinde’s mum held Xander hands and pray for their union to the sun God and Xander’s cousin did the same with Mirlinde and they headed back to the stage on their knees.

“Now time for the last ceremony until you guy become one,

You say your vows give each other a sun necklace broken in half and the emerald rings” The wise women said giving them permission to start

Xander’s POV

Saying my vow to Mirlinde meant pouring out all my feelings and love I have for her and it was an overwhelming experience as words could even express how much I love and adore her.

Even though words can’t express my love for her I took my time writing a heartfelt vow for my lovely MIrlinde and it now here I am reading it to her

“Mirlinde You are the only girl I have loved, since the first time I saw you when you went offered my parents welcome my parents when I move in your neighborhood I knew you were the one for me” He sniffed “I know that sounds cheeky and childish but Mirlinde I love you with my whole heart with a passion that can't be expressed in words, only in kisses, glances, and years of adventure by your side”.

“I promise to be your honest, faithful, and loving partner for the rest of my days.

I pledge to honor you, love you, and cherish you as my other half today and every day”.

“Today I say, "I do" but to me that means, "I will." I will take your hand and stand by your side in the good and the bad. I dedicate myself to your happiness, success, and smile. I will love you forever”.

“You are my every dream come true, and I can't wait for the reality we get to build together”.

“I promise to be your guiding light in the darkness, a warming comfort in the cold, and a shoulder to lean on when life is too much to bear on your own”.

Give me your hand, and I will give you forever.

You are loved more than any metaphor can ever try to express—my love, my Melal”.

I vow to always protect you from harm, to stand with you against your troubles, and to look to you when I need protection.

“You make me laugh, you make me think, and above all, you make me happy”.

“I promise to be your navigator, best friend, one and only. I promise to honor, love, and cherish you through all life's adventures. Wherever we go, we'll go together”.

After I said his vow everyone was in tears as it was such an amazing and heartwarming vow and I could see it in everyone’s eyes, but the one person’s face who I wanted to see content with my vow, was more than content. She had the brightest smile with her eyes filled with tears, with this I put one of the necklaces above her head and one of the emerald rings in Mirlinde’s wedding ring finger.

Mirlinde’s POV

Now it was my turn to pour out my heart to Xander. I don’t know if I can beat his vow as it was best I have heard but I will try. Anyways here it goes
