Some of the pedestrians on both sides were holding umbrellas, and some were walking in a hurry.

Only Jungkook and her walked leisurely. Jungkook was familiar with the neighborhood here. He turned left, walked to the sidewalk of a small road, and pulled Lisa to his right.

There was a row of apartments to the left of the two of them, and under each apartment there were stairs leading down to the basement.

On snowy days, the steps are covered with snow and cannot be seen clearly. If she accidentally gets too close, she can easily fall.

So it was safer for him to walk on the left side.

Of course, Lisa didn't understand his intention at all.

She just felt that Jungkook must have some obsessive-compulsive disorder when walking, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, weird...

After another turn, she saw the narrow stairs at the subway entrance.

She stomped the snow on the soles of her feet and followed Jungkook down.

There was a row of wet footprints on the steps, left by Jungkook, and then she added a row. Jungkook deliberately stopped in front of the lowest step, waiting for her.

Three homeless people were lying in the subway station. They each found a sheltered corner to sleep. One of them slept next to the ticket vending machine.

Lisa changed the credit card from it.

She took out her wallet and wanted to insert her card into the vending machine to buy a ticket, so she politely took two steps around.

"Follow me,” Jungkook said behind her, "The train is here."

Inside the station, the subway roared into the station with the noise of rolling tracks.

The New York subway is capricious, and even on snowy days, you can catch one trip at a time, but it's already too late to buy a ticket.

He pulled Lisa away from the ticket vending machine, sent her into the ticket inspection channel, and swiped his subway card.

Immediately afterwards, he swiped again and entered the station himself.

Before Lisa could see what the platform looked like, she had already been pushed into the carriage.

The car door closed behind her.

She looked around and saw that it was the most dilapidated carriage again.

There is no air conditioning, no electronic display screen, and she doesn't know if the speakers in the car are good...

Is there anyone yet?

She and Jungkook were the only ones in the entire carriage. Two rows of empty orange seats were waiting for them. They could sit anywhere they wanted. Lisa pointed to a seat, and seeing that Jungkook had no objection, he sat down next to the door.

Jungkook sat next to her, took off the cue barrel, and stood by his legs.

It was the only thing he was holding that still belonged to her.

Speaking of which, this man really didn't bring anything with him except his mobile phone and wallet, so he went to Flushing to gamble on a game of football! It was so casual.

There was still snow left on the soles of both of their shoes, and they stepped on a puddle of water on the floor of the carriage.

There is no signal in the subway car, no Internet access, and nothing to kill time. There was no scenery outside the carriage, it was completely dark, and only the sound of driving filled the entire empty carriage.
