Radhika's POV:

We all headed straight to the club from the office. The moment I stepped inside, the loud thumping of the bass and the vibrant mix of neon lights hit me like a wave.

The place was packed with people dancing, laughing, and drinking, the air thick with a mix of sweat, perfume, and alcohol.

The energy was contagious, but as I looked down at my anarkali suit, I felt completely out of place.

I’d never been to a club before, and my nerves were getting the better of me.

Everyone around me was dressed in trendy, body-hugging outfits, and here I was in a traditional suit, feeling like a fish out of water. I glanced around, hoping I wasn’t sticking out like a sore thumb, but the unease was growing in my chest.

Aanya must have noticed the discomfort on my face because she walked over to me with a reassuring smile. "You look beautiful, Radhika. Don’t worry about what others are wearing," she said, squeezing my hand.

I forced a smile, appreciating her kind words, but I still felt awkward. Reyansh and Aanya seemed to sense that I needed a distraction because they both grabbed my hands and started dragging me toward the dance floor.

"C’mon, Radhika! Let’s dance!" Reyansh shouted over the music, his enthusiasm infectious.

I hesitated for a second, glancing back at Samar, who was sitting at a booth, holding a glass in his hand.

His eyes were fixed on me, his expression unreadable. There was something in the way he looked at me—an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. I couldn’t quite place it, but it made my heart race.

As we reached the dance floor, Aanya and Reyansh started moving to the beat, encouraging me to join in. I tried to let loose, swaying to the rhythm, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching me.

Sure enough, when I glanced back at the booth, Samar’s eyes were still on me, his grip on the glass tightening.

Reyansh, oblivious to the tension, placed his hands lightly on my waist as we danced.

He wasn’t doing anything inappropriate, just guiding me along with the music, but I noticed the change in Samar’s demeanor. His jaw clenched, and his eyes darkened, a look of barely contained fury crossing his face.

I tried to focus on dancing, but the weight of Samar’s gaze was heavy. I turned my head slightly and saw him standing up, his expression stormy.

Suddenly, there was a loud shattering sound—Samar had crushed the glass in his hand with so much force that it broke, sending shards scattering across the table and blood was dripping from his hand. My heart skipped a beat, panic rising within me.

"Reyansh, I need to go check on something," I said, pulling away from him. He nodded, but before I could make my way to Samar, a group of men blocked my path.

"Hey, pretty lady, where are you going in such a hurry?" one of them slurred, the smell of alcohol strong on his breath.

I tried to sidestep them, but another man grabbed my arm, pulling me back. "Don’t be in such a rush, sweetheart. Stay and have a drink with us," he said, his words dripping with sleaze.

"Let go of me," I demanded, yanking my arm away, but they just laughed, the sound cruel and mocking.

"Come on, don’t be so shy," one of them taunted, reaching out to touch my face. My blood boiled with anger and disgust.

Without thinking, I slapped the man who had grabbed me. The sound of the slap echoed around us, and for a moment, everything seemed to freeze.

The man’s face twisted in rage, and he raised his hand to hit me back. My heart raced in fear, but before his hand could connect with my face, Samar was there, his hand catching the man’s wrist in a vice-like grip.

"You touch her, and I’ll break every single bone in your body," Samar snarled, his voice low and dangerous.

The cold fury in his eyes was terrifying, and for a moment, the man looked like he might back down.

But then another of his friends tried to intervene, and that’s when Samar lost it. He swung his fist, connecting with the guy’s jaw with a sickening thud.

The man staggered back, blood pouring from his mouth, but Samar wasn’t done. He grabbed the next guy and started pummeling him, each punch fueled by a rage I had never seen in him before.

"Samar, stop!" I cried out, but he was beyond hearing me. He was like a man possessed, every punch landing with brutal force.

"She’s mine!" he growled at the men, his voice dripping with possessiveness. "You don’t get to touch her, you don’t even get to look at her."

The words echoed in my mind, making my heart pound. I had never seen Samar so fierce, so protective. It was both terrifying and exhilarating, this side of him that I had never truly known.

Reyansh joined in, throwing punches at the men who had dared to lay a hand on me. The two of them together were unstoppable, a force of raw, unbridled fury.

I stood there, frozen, watching in horror as Samar and Reyansh beat the men senseless.

I could barely recognize Samar in that moment—he was like a different person, driven by something primal and fierce. The intensity of his anger was overwhelming, and all I could do was stand there, helpless and terrified.

Finally, the bouncers intervened, pulling Samar and Reyansh away from the bloodied men on the floor.

Samar’s chest was heaving, his knuckles bruised and bleeding, but his eyes were still blazing with anger.

I rushed to his side, my hands trembling as I reached for him. "Samar, please, let’s go," I whispered, my voice shaky.

He looked down at me, his expression softening just a fraction as he saw the fear in my eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice rough with concern.

I nodded, unable to find my voice. My mind was reeling from everything that had just happened.

The possessiveness in his voice, the way he had defended me with such ferocity—it was all too much to process.

As we left the club, I couldn’t help but replay his words in my mind. She’s mine.

The words echoed in my head, sending a strange mix of emotions coursing through me. My heart ached with the realization that I wanted those words to be true more than anything else in the world.
