Radhika's POV:

We were still wrapped in each other’s arms when he whispered, "Can I get the privilege to be your boyfriend?"

My heart skipped a beat. This was the moment I had been dreaming of for so long—Samar finally proposing me.

Overwhelmed with joy, I nodded, trying to hold back tears, but one escaped anyway. He noticed, gently wiping it away before kissing my forehead.

His arms wrapped around me tightly as he whispered, "I love you, Radhika. I love you so much."

Being in his embrace, I felt like I was in the perfect place. All the years of waiting, hoping, and silently loving him had led to this. As he held me close, I smiled to myself, doing a little happy dance in my head.

“Well,” I said, playfully breaking the moment, “since I’m already ready, how about a movie date?”

Samar’s arms loosened as he leaned back, raising an eyebrow. “A movie? Which one?”

I smirked, wanting to tease him just a little. “It’s a surprise! You’ll see when we get there.”

He chuckled, the sound low and warm. “A surprise, huh? Alright, I’ll get ready.”

As he disappeared into the room to change, I booked the movie tickets on my phone. Moments later, he emerged from the bedroom, and my breath hitched.

Samar was wearing a simple white t-shirt that hugged his body just right, showing off his toned chest and broad shoulders.

His jeans fit him perfectly, and as he ran a hand through his messy hair, I couldn’t help but get lost in how incredibly handsome he looked.

My heart did a little flip, and I found myself staring at him, completely mesmerized.

He smirked, noticing my gaze. “Am I looking delicious?” he teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I blinked, my cheeks heating up as I quickly averted my gaze. “Shut up,” I muttered, laughing under my breath. He walked over, and I could see the smugness all over his face.

After I composed myself, we headed out. Samar, ever the gentleman, opened the car door for me.

Just as I was about to get in, I saw him pluck a jasmine flower from a bush nearby. He slid into the driver’s seat beside me and handed me the delicate flower.

I laughed softly, the gesture so simple yet sweet. Leaning over, I kissed him on the cheek. “You’re such a romantic.”

He grinned, starting the engine, and we drove off toward the theater. On the way, we turned on some music and sang along together, laughing at our off-key moments.

It was light, fun, and so effortlessly us. For the first time in a long while, everything felt perfect.

Then, as we cruised through the city streets, Samar glanced at me out of the corner of his eye. “So… about last night. Did I say something wrong? You’ve been quiet today, and I just… I don’t really remember everything.”

I smiled softly, shaking my head. “You didn’t say anything wrong. You just… well, you kind of broke down, confessed your feelings, and then passed out.”

I laughed lightly, trying to keep it casual, though the memory was so raw and emotional. “That’s why I had to plan this little act with him. I knew you’d never say anything otherwise.”

Samar reached over, still keeping his eyes on the road, and gently grabbed a strand of my hair.

He brought my hand to his lips, kissing it softly, sending shivers down my spine. My heart fluttered, and I couldn’t help the smile that spread across my face.
