Radhika's POV:

I leaned against the terrace railing, the cool evening breeze brushing against my face as I dialed Siya’s number.

The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over the buildings around me.

As the phone rang, I smiled to myself, thinking back to everything that had happened these past few days. It all felt surreal—like I was living in a dream I never wanted to wake up from.

“Hey, girl!” Siya's cheerful voice came through the phone.

“Siya!” I exclaimed, feeling a surge of excitement. “I need to catch you up on everything!”

“Ooh, spill the tea, babe. I’ve been dying to know what’s been going on with you and Samar since samar passed out on that day. ”

I let out a little laugh, my heart fluttering as I thought about it. “Well, you’re not going to believe this, but…he confessed.”

There was a pause on the other end, and then Siya practically screamed into the phone. “WHAT? Finally! Oh my God, how did it happen? Tell me everything!”

I giggled, feeling my face heat up just remembering it all. “So, we were at home, and he asked me if he had said anything wrong the night before. He was so worried about it. I pretend that I'm going on a date with Reyansh and then, out of nowhere, he just kissed me and blurted out that he had feelings for me. I couldn’t believe it.”

Siya gasped dramatically. “No way! That’s so romantic! What did you say? Did you confess too?”

I nodded, even though she couldn’t see me. “I did. And then we went to watch a movie the same day, like an official date.”

“Aww, look at you two, all couple-y now!” Siya teased, her voice filled with happiness for me. “And? How was the movie date?”

I laughed, thinking back to how we’d barely focused on the movie, too caught up in each other. “Let’s just say the movie was the last thing on our minds. It was…perfect.”

Siya squealed again, clearly enjoying every detail. “I’m so happy for you, babe! Finally, you and Samar. It’s like a rom-com playing out in real life. What else? I know there’s more!”

I smiled. “Well, today at work, something big happened. We found out we’ve been assigned a project in Dubai. Just the two of us.”

“WHAT?” Siya’s voice hit a new pitch. “You’re going to Dubai together? Oh, girl, this is getting better by the minute! You’re going to be working AND spending time in one of the most romantic cities in the world. That’s like, destiny or something.”

“I know, right?” I said, feeling the excitement building all over again. “It’s crazy. I mean, it’s a work trip, but we’ll have so much time together. It feels like everything’s falling into place.”

Siya laughed softly. “You two deserve this. After all the ups and downs, it’s about time you got to just enjoy being together. But you know what you have to do, right?”

I raised an eyebrow, confused. “Do what?”

“Surprise him, of course!” Siya replied with a mischievous tone.

I furrowed my brow. “Surprise him? What do you mean?”

Siya giggled, clearly enjoying my confusion. “Well, I may have sent you a little something that’ll arrive tomorrow. Trust me, you’ll know exactly what to do when you see it.”
