You turn around to see who called your name. A girl with bleached blond hair and blue eyes stared at you. Her eye lashes were obviously fake, one of them was falling off already. Your heart sank.
Stephanie.
Aubrey's sister.
"Oh hi, Stephanie was it?" You asked trying to hide your laniard by crossing your arms. Stephanie didn't look to thrilled to see you.
"Yeah! So glad you remembered." Her peppy facade cracked when her eye twitched. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh I'm a photographer-"
"Oh for like this venue?" She asked cutting you off. You forced your self to remain calm even though you hated this girl with a fiery passion.
"No, actually I'm with one of the bands, Pierce the Veil" You said, her eyes traced lines across your forearms.
"Oh." she pursed her lips then gave you a one-over then a look of disgust. "I've heard of them, I'm here as a sort of 'roadie'" she said making the air quotations. "I sort of just hang out with the crew of different bands." She said then sighed like she had somewhere better to be.
"I should get going." You said. She perked up.
"Yea you should." She said before she flipped her hair and walked away. You rolled your eyes.
Bitch.
You began making your way back to the tent. You could hear a band start to warm up on the main stage. You listened as You Me at Six began to play Loverboy. The crowd began to thin out since everyone wanted to see who was playing.
You were to lost in your own head to realized you were about to walk into somebody else. You were speed walking so the collision knocked both of you over.
"Woah watch where you're going pinky." Said the guy, you were to busy picking up your backpack with your camera.
"I'm so sorry!" You said getting up and dusted yourself off. You looked up to see a pale ginger guy. Alan Ashby. Your eyes widened.
"Nice shirt" He asked pointing at your shirt. You could feel your face start to blush.
"Oh." You looked down at your shirt. "Y- Yea they're one of my favorites." You stuttered trying to put your arms in a normal positions. Alan nodded.
"Hey aren't you the new photographer for the mexicans?" He asked.
"Uhh y-yea" you said
"Thats sick kid. Is it weird being like the only girl on their bus?" He asked shifting his weight to one foot.
"I guess it does get weird at times." You thought then debated whether or not to tell him you were with Tony.
"Did any of them fall in love with you yet?" He said then giggled like a school girl. You restrained yourself from giggling along with him and told yourself to be normal.
"Maybe." You said then looked down at your feet, your legs were tan compared to Alan's snowing white color.
"Oh- Oh!" He tucked his chin back giving himself a double chin. He had a look on his face that said 'I know exactly what you're talking about'. "So you're who the one he was talking about." He said then chuckled to himself. You felt an arm wrap around your shoulder making you flinch.
"Hey Ellie" Tony said eyeing Alan suspiciously. Alan stopped giggling and looked at you and Tony with a giant grin on his face.
"You guys are matching!" He squealed pointing at your shirts. You made a mental note to make sure you weren't matching with Tony anymore.
