Hey hi! Finally decided to update this story! Hope you enjoy (also on the shorter side sadly.)

Ugh…” Elze muttered as her eyes fluttered open by the annoying rays of sunshine clouding her vision. Having had enough of the sun, the silver haired girl turned to the other side of the bed.
“... Linze, close the curtains please… I don't wanna wake up.”
No response.
Elze frowned as she sat up straight in a sleeping manner. Unlike her sister. Elze was never an early bird to begin with. While she adores the thrill of adventure, waking up early and being ready to pack in bags was something she hated with passion alongside scumbags was something she would punch in the face without getting bored to slightest.
“Linze?” She called out while trying to rub sleep away. With her vision still blurry, Elze turned to the bed standing next to hers. “L-Linze!?”
Only to realize that it was empty. The bed that stood near the window had its sheets and blanket neatly folded. In the corner was a desk with a book that Elze easily recognized as Linze’s spellbook she got as a gift from their aunt. Elze brows knitted together as she stepped out of her bed and closer to the desk. Linze wouldn't just left her spellbook open. She took good care of it like it was some kind of jewelry. Leaving it out in the open left a curling feeling in her guts.
Was Linze gone shopping?
‘nope, can't be. We're as broke as one can be.’
Aside from some copper, the twins didn't own a single penny on their name. Shopping would be dumb if they could barely afford an inn for the night. Elze sighed, shutting the book and storing it in Linze's backpack.
“Hmm?” Elze stopped. Her green eyes roaming to the money pouch that was pushed all the way in the back among the various clothes as t-shirts, skirts, and bra’s with a cup size that made Elze wonder if they really were sisters or that the gods cursed her with less.
Ignoring the unimportant difference. Elze fished out the pouch, a pathetic ringing was created. They really should register at a guild if they ever want to scrape by. Silver moon wasn't a cheap place to stay though it did provide higher quality that left little to complain about.
Yet something wasn't right.
While the sisters were obviously broke, the pouch weight didn't feel any different than last time. How did Linze afford a room without spending any money? Did Micah feel pity and decide that it was on the house?
The silver haired girl with her hair till her waist frowned yet again, trying to remember if she had missed anything from last night.
Also, how did they arrive at the Silver moon? Linze wouldn't be able to carry her-
Elze eyes turned to dinner plates. The memories of the night before came rushing to her head.
The spiky haired boy.
The fight she had.
The single punch that knocked her out cold.
“I'm a bit embarrassed but…. I need some help. You don't mind giving me a hand and going to an inn with me. Would really appreciate it.”
A sense of dread made her legs move on their own, not bothering changing her nightgown into her daily attire. Swinging the door open. Emerald eyes practically shifted to every corner of the hallway. What the hell was Linze thinking? How didn't she see the lustful gaze in that bastard's eyes? Was that his plan all along? Knocking Elze out and then taking advantage of Linze vulnerability?
