Chapter 2: The Yoke's on You

Third pov:

Shadow is seen speeding around in a ball and destroying rocks until he finds the master Emerald. "Chaos Emerald. There you are" Shadow says as he grabs the Chaos Emerald. "Chaos control!" Shadow shouts as he teleports to hedgehog's pass.

But stops when he hears a sudden explosion. He notices a light blue shockwave coming. So he pushes against it but has a vision of Sonic running around in a ball. Then he sees another one where Stella is red and glitching out. He tries to reach out but gets back to reality again once the shockwaves pass. "Sonic" he says pissed.

Shadow is seen running on his Air shoes trying to find Sonic. But sees him collecting rings so he jumps down and runs towards sonic and punches him knocking Sonic back.

'So I know what you're thinking. "Sonic has a twin brother" Well no. This guy's right here is Shadow, and he's kinda my biggest rival. He is a real buzz kill. And by the way he roller skates.'

Once Sonic stops, he sits up. "Shadow?!" Sonic stands up. "What did you do?!" Shadow starts walking up to Sonic. "What did I do? Eggman's the bad guy, remember?" Shadow comes charging at him. "You literally shook the world."

Sonic front flips of Shadow "That's cause I'm good." Sonic then picks up a ring flexing. "And powerful apparently. Jealous?" Sonic runs away before shadow teleports to Sonic and then runs after him.

"Maybe my winning disrupted you brooding? Or is it skulking? That's a word, right?" Sonic jumps over Shadow running off. "You need to stop, Sonic and listen for once!"

Sonic jumps at Shadow twice before running off with Shadow chasing him again until he trips over a rock causing him to run on his hands. He then jumps over a bolder landing on his feet again. While Shadow breaks right through it. "Or was it because I disrupted you thinking about your girlfriend Stella." Sonic teases Shadow. "We aren't dating!" Shadow yells blushing a little. "Yeah, but you wish you could"

They continued to chase after each other a little longer. Until they stop and sonic starts to walk backwards from Shadow. "Clearly you're angry, which is normal." Sonic runs off again. "But I'm supposed to be on a bit of a mission here, Shadow!" Shadow then catches up to Sonic. "What mission?"

"None of your business. Unless you tell why you and Stella hang out so much." Shadow growls at Sonic. "Hay be glad I haven't told the others yet" They chase each other a bit longer as flickies watch. Suddenly there was an explosion from the mountain the others were at. Sonic looks over at the mountain. "Oh no! My friend!" Sonic looks back at shadow. "Look, Shadow, I'm late--" but was cut off when shadow punched Sonic in the face... hard. "Learn to focus"

'I can't remember a thing after that punch.'

Third pov:

Sonic and Stella let out a huge light blue and red explosion cutting off all the power in the city. When the power turns on everything comes back online. The chaos council have all fallen off their chairs.
