As the sun set, the few thin strips of clouds on the horizon turned shimmering gold.
The cold breeze of October touched my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
I rubbed my palms together in order to keep myself warm. I wore a soft white coloured sweater still it's not enough to keep me warm.

Today I tried calling him Avy, but I was too shy and ended up splitting his name into two different names, Avy- Ansh.

I was waiting for Avyaansh outside a cafe, near his company.
I'm giving him his gift. No. His 'thank you gift', yeah that sounds better.
I wanted to thank him for the brownies but I was very much confused about how should I thank him and yeah it took me a month to decide or maybe I just wanted to save the reason for meeting him alone.

I tried cooking but almost burned down the kitchen. I went to buy something but nothing was special enough so I decided to make something myself.

I gazed around and Avyaansh was sprinting towards me, "Sorry. Am I late?", he said, glancing at his wrist watch.

I kept looking at him because he was looking so damn hot in that dark green polo shirt and black trousers, his black coat in his hand and his tired yet beautiful hazel brown eyes shining in the setting sun.

"No", I replied, smiling like a fool.

He inspected my face for a while, his eyes darkened when they landed on my lips and my breath hitched.

The second I knew I was pulled into a hug. My body froze and my heart raced when he buried his head in the crook of my neck.

"Avyaansh are you..."
"Just for a while...please", he cut me in the middle, his voice quavering.

I guess he had a bad day.

I creased his back and his grip on my waist tightened. My feets were barely touching the ground.

I craved his warmth so much after the festival.
I closed my eyes and let the soothing feeling sink in me.

He brushed his lips against my neck and a small moan left my mouth.

Stfu. You idiot.

He immediately let go of me, not my liking. He clears his throat covering his mouth with his palm.
Blushing like a cute tomato as always.

"S-sor...".
I hush him down. "Shall we go in", I asked, pointing towards the cafe and he nodded.

"Here", I said, handing him the bag.
He drew his eyebrows together. "Your, thank you gift", I said without meeting his eyes and I could hear his small laugh.

"Thank you", he said in a soft voice.
"I made it", I told covering my face with the menu.

"Thank you so much sunshine", he said in a soft voice, taking the menu from me.
"You-you're welcome", I stuttered.
