“Avy relax, everything is perfect. You've done everything, now just take a seat”, Nitya Bhabhi said, making me sit on the couch.

I'm super nervous and excited at the same time.

All our friends and Disha along with her parents are coming home for the Diwali celebration.
I prepared a feast for my Sunshine, Butter Paneer, Naan,Rice, Dal Tadka and Gajar ka halwa. Everything was her favorite.

There's a small surprise I'll be giving her today and the excitement is killing me.

Babhi I'm nervous”, I said, my voice a little shaky.
“Everything will be fine, don't worry”, Bhabhi replied, creasing my shoulder.

“You're looking just like me on my wedding day”, Arsh Bhai chuckled and I rolled my eyes.
“It's indeed a big day for him”, Nitya bhabhi smiled at her dumb husband.

“What? Is he marrying someone?”, my shithead brother almost screamed. Bhabhi laughed, “He seems like a groom, doesn't he?”

Arsh Bhai grabbed my face in his hands and looked at me as if his detective ass was about to solve some big mystery. The only thing he needed was a magnifying glass because he was already an inch away from my face.

I jerked his hand off and stood up.

“Did you find the answer”, Bhabhi whispered in her husband's ear.

What?! Don't tell me she's adapting her husband's behaviour.

“You too bhabhi?”, I sighed, shaking my head.
“He gets annoyed so easily”, Bhai laughed.
“I know”, Bhabhi joined him.

*****

Everyone had arrived except Raya and Disha.
Disha was on the way and Raya said she won't be able to make it because of some reasons and our Zayan was here technically but he has been spacing since Raya's call.

I guess he's missing her. My poor boy.

I was talking to Kabir when I heard the sound of anklets behind me. Kabir smiled and I knew it was Disha but I let her do what she wanted to.

She covered my eyes, pulling me all the way back in the process.

Can't blame my tiny Sunshine.

“Guess who”, she tried to make her voice a little different.
I chuckled at her cute attempt.
“Isha? Umm no it's Dhriti. No no it's Sneha, right?”, I teased and she punched me in the back.

I turned around and my heart stopped beating.

She was looking so damn beautiful in that pretty yellow lehenga, those dark brown eyes filled with kajal were sparkling like gems and oh those pink lips of her, everytime I see them I just want to slam my lips against them.
My eyes trailed down to her waist and I thanked that pink blouse for not covering that tempting curves.
