The song of this chapter:
This town by Niall Horan

Harry's POV

It's officially the first weekend, so that means going out of school into town. I need to go to a craft shop for Louis' sign. Because obviously I didn't bring hard paper or cardboard.

The sun was barely peeking through the curtains when I decided it was time to head into town. As I bustle about, getting ready, I accidentally knock over a stack of books, causing a loud thud. The clumsy shit that I am.

Louis stirred in his sleep, his eyes fluttering open. "Haz? What's going on?" he mumbled, voice thick with sleep.

"Sorry, Lou. Didn't mean to wake you. I'm just heading into town for some supplies."

Louis sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Supplies? For what?"

"For your sign, remember?" Harry smiled softly. "Go back to sleep, Louis . I'll be back soon."

But Louis was already climbing out of bed, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Nah, I'm coming with you. Two's company, right?"

As Louis and I strolled through town, the bustling streets seemed to fade into the background. My eyes kept darting to his hand, swinging freely by his side. I felt an overwhelming urge to reach out and intertwine our fingers, to feel the warmth of his palm against mine. I shoved my hands into my pockets instead, trying to ignore the tingling feeling in my fingertips. Louis talks about how cute this town is and I agree.

We wandered into a craft shop, the air thick with the scent of paper and paint. Louis' eyes lit up as he spotted a display of vibrant markers. "Hey, Haz," he called out, a grin spreading across his face. "Let's test these out." Before I knew it, he was offering me his hand, palm up. My heart raced as I carefully uncapped a bright blue marker. With a trembling hand, I drew a small heart on his skin. The simple act felt strangely intimate, and I found myself lingering, not wanting to break contact.

As we moved through the narrow aisles, Louis suddenly stopped, causing me to bump into him. We ended up face to face, barely inches apart. Time seemed to slow down as I gazed into his eyes. My gaze dropped to his lips, and a powerful desire to kiss him washed over me. I could feel the heat radiating from his body, and smell the faint scent of his cologne. For a moment, I thought I saw something flicker in his eyes – anticipation, perhaps? But before I could gather the courage to lean in, the spell was broken by a loud crash from the next aisle. We jumped apart, the moment lost.

As we left the shop, my mind was racing. These feelings for Louis were becoming harder to ignore with each passing day. The urge to hold his hand, to kiss him, to tell him how I felt. But for now, I kept my feelings locked away.

After we came back to our dorm, Louis needed to go. The match is this evening so they need to be there a few hours in advance. Which gives me the time to make my sign. I want it to be personal but not too embarrassing for him. Maybe I do want to embarrass him a bit, it would be funny.

After a few bad ideas I settled on "Go, Lou Bear!". It's the best idea i have ever had if i say so myself. I draw a few doodles around the words and feel ready to go to Zayn's.

I arrived at Zayn's place, we exchanged quick hellos, and then we were off, walking towards the field where the match would take place. The sun was warm on our faces, and there was a buzz of excitement in the air.

As we strolled, Liv turned to me with a mischievous glint in her eye. "I'm surprised, Harry," she said, her voice teasing. "I thought for sure you'd be wearing a jersey with 'Tomlinson' on the back to support your boyfriend."
