Damian traversed the enigmatic path, the trees swaying gently in the breeze, their leaves rustling softly. The air was heavy with moisture, and Resolve, his sword, hung at his side. His pack was slung over his shoulder, containing all the essentials for his journey. With no clear sense of time, Damian relied on the sun's position to gauge the hours passing.

As fatigue began to set in, Damian settled beneath a tree, laying his pack down beside him. He took a refreshing sip from his water skin and rested for a few minutes.

The events of the previous night still lingered in his mind. After visiting Sophia at the orphanage with Kael, and making a promise, they ate lunch and he ran off, saying goodbye to Kael. Damian returned home, sitting in front of the door, awaiting Fela's arrival

When night fell, Fela finally appeared,
"What are you doing outside?" Fela asked, his voice tinged with curiosity. Damian told him that he was waiting for him. "Why?" Fela asked, his brow furrowed. "What are we going to do about Old Thom?" Damian said, his determination evident. Fela was taken aback by Damian's inquiry.

"I thought we'd discuss this later, since you just woke up," Fela said, but Damian pressed on, insisting they talk about it then and there. "Well, this is later, so let's talk about it now," Damian said, his voice firm. "Can we go inside first?" Fela asked, his eyes darting around the darkness. Damian nodded, standing up and following him inside the house.

"So, what do you want to do about it?" Fela said, settling down on a chair, while Damian continued to stand. "I want to go to the outside world and warn them. I'm not happy knowing that they are unaware of the tragedy that's about to befall them. If it hasn't already started," Damian expressed, quoting what Kael said. "I don't think he's reached them yet," Fela said, his voice measured. Damian's curiosity was piqued.

"What makes you think that?" Damian asked, his eyes narrowing slightly. Fela led him to a secluded spot, explaining, "To reach the outside world, it normally takes several weeks, maybe even a month. But I know a way to get there in a few days. It's the route I took to get here when I was being chased." Fela paused, hoping Damian didn't hear the last part. Damian pretended not to hear it, knowing his father wouldn't elaborate.

"Tell me the path, so I can warn them," Damian said, his voice resolute. But Fela warned, "If I tell you, you must leave immediately." "Why is that?" Damian asked, his brow furrowed. Fela's expression turned serious.

"As soon as you have knowledge of the location, the path will begin to close, and won't open for another 10 years and they are many dangers there" Fela said, his voice firm. Damian steeled himself, determination burning within.

"I can do it," he said, his voice resolute. "After all, it's my dream to go to the outside world."

They packed supplies like clothes, food, and other things.

"What if they don't believe me?" Damian asked.

"I thought of that," Fela said.

He handed Damian a wrapped package. "What is it?" Damian asked.

 "What is it?" Damian asked
