chapter 18: Memories of the Arcane

***... In the depths of his soul, a flicker of recognition ignite, stirring memories long buried beneath the sand of time. Each fragments unfold like a petals of a forgotten flower......*

Taemin's eyes widened as he caught sight of the pendant glimmering on Jungkook's neck, it's intricate design almost pulsating with energy. " Lisa..."he whispered again, the name slipping from his lips like a forgotten melody. But this time the moment that name echoed in the air, a strange shimmer envelope Jungkook, and he gasped, his body going rigid.

Jungkook's eyes widened, and he staggered back, clutching the pendant as if it were a lifeline. " What's happening to me ?" he gasped, his voice laced with confusion. Jimin, standing beside him instinctively reached out, his heart racing at the sight of Jungkook's sudden distress.

" Jungkook" Jimin called out, his voice breaking through the thickening tension. He stepped closer,but when he was about to grab Jungkook's hand that was holding the pendant, he got electrocuted and he could feel the magic crackle that was drawing to him, " professor what the hell is happening to him and why did that thing shock me" Jimin asked looking at the professor who was still standing there looking at the distressed Jungkook with shock not believing his eyes.

The pendant glowed brighter, illuminating Jungkook's face in a ethereal light, and for a moment, Jimin could see his eye color change into hazel type with long black hair but that was just a glimpse which led Jimin to step back for awhile not believing what's going on , " did did he just changed or am I seeing stuff now and why is the pendant keep glowing what the hell is happening" Jimin caught the professor who was still in shock.

"So she came back too " taemin said with a smiling face , "who came back" Jimin who was lost in the middle of these whole chaos asked, " your best friend,I know for now you won't understand but you will know soon",the professor responded, as soon as the light from the pendant went down Jimin quickly rushed to his side.

A surge of magic coursed through him lighting a whirlwind of memories he couldn't comprehend. The world around him faded, and he felt himself being pulled into a realm where shadows dance, and whisperers of the past beckoned. As he collapsed to the ground the ground , Taemin rushed forward, panic flooding his veins.
"Jungkook?".

Jungkook's eyes fluttered shut, and in that instant, he was lost in a tempest of visions fragments of a life intertwined with Lisa a past he never knew he carried.

Panic surged through the room as Jungkook lay on the floor, his breathe coming in ragged gasps. Jimin knelt besides him his heart racing as he tried to keep Jungkook focused, "stay with me Jungkook we need to take him to the hospital!".

The urgency in Jimin's voice snapped the other into action. Taemin rushed to grab the car keys, while Jimin frantically dialed for an ambulance.As they careful lifted Jungkook into a sitting position, Taemin returned, breathless. "The car's ready! Let's go!".

With Jimin supporting Jungkook's weight, they maneuvered him towards the door, but just as they stepped into the hallway, V burst in , his expression a mix of confusion and concern. " What happened?", he exclaimed, taking in the scene before him.

"V , what are you doing here" , Jimin asked him in surprised, "amm.. amm..." ,"Just come and help us here, Jungkook needs help" Jimin shouted urgency lacing his words, " we are taking him to the hospital!"

V's eyes widened as he rushed to Jungkook's side , determination etched into his features. " Let's take my car ,I'll drive".

The hospital was whirlwind of activities as they rushed Jungkook through the sliding glass doors. The sterile scent of antiseptic filled the air , mingling with the distant sounds of beeping monitors and hurried footsteps. Jimin held onto Jungkook's arm, his grip firm yet reassuring.

"Stay with us , jk," Jimin urged, his voice steady despite the Chaos around them "you're going to be okay".

Nurses quickly approached, their expressions shifting from surprise to professionalism as they assessed Jungkook's condition " what is going on?", one of them asked, her voice calm but urgent.

" He_he just fainted we don't know what happened to him , "Jimin explained, glance at Taemin, who was anxiously pacing besides them" he needs help, fast! "

As they wheeled Jungkook into a treatment room, Jimin felt a knot of anxiety tighten in his stomach. He wanted to follow, but a nurse gently placed a hand on his shoulder." We need to get him stabilized. You can wait outside. "

Taemin stepped closer, his brow furrowed with worry," we're not leaving him. " We will be here".

Jimin nodded, feeling a mix of fear and hope . They could only wait now praying that Jungkook would pull through his ordeal.

" Why is it everything bad that happens you are always present, first it was Jimin now jk are you cursed or something" this sound was heard from the bench where V was sitting, " what's your problem" Taemin asked the guy who just stood up from his sit, " my problem is you , what did you do to jk you piece of shit" V went and grabbed his collar shirt bringing him closer to him , Taemin didn't even flinch," what the hell is wrong with you V" Jimin shouted near him.

" Don't tell me you're taking his side again " V snort," we are in the hospital for crying out loud an my best friend is in there struggling through a breathing machine and you're here picking a fight are you nuts let him fucking go now " it's like Jimin request falled into a deaf hear cause V did the opposite.

The chaos escalated quickly. In the heat of the moment as Jimin attempted to separate V from Taemin, V swung his arm back inadvertently hitting Jimin who ended up flying and hitting his head on the wall. Taemin quickly got off V and went quickly to Jimin's aid.

Hobi , namjoon and Jin who Taemin called earlier, rushed after they had the new came to find what was going on . " What's going on?" Hobi asked, his eyes darting between the three.

" Love am sorry are you okay " V who just realized what he had done came in a rush kneeling next to Jimin, " please just go ," Jimin said in a low tone, " am sorry..." " I said leave here V , get the fuck out, I don't have time for your stupid jealousy now get the fuck out", Jimin exploded which caught even the nurses attention who came quickly to stop the commotion .

Jin who was the oldest among the four except for Taemin who was busy aiding to Jimin went and apologize to the nurse for the behavior. V quickly got up and walk away from them as they help Jimin up, " what happened to Jungkook?", namjoon asked face worried, " I really don't know guys we were just fine the next minute the guy couldn't breathe," Jimin responded, " Jimin can I have a word with you in private please?" Taemin who was sitting next to him on the waiting chair request, Jimin didn't failed to node and he got up to follow Taemin, the rest just watched.

The air was a little bit tensed but not as always this time it was smooth and calm , " Where did you say you found the necklace, the one jk was wearing" he asked, and Jimin replied, " I bought it at this local shop on my way home, what's wrong with it," he asked, "do you believe in magic Jimin or even past life " Taemin asked," I don't believe in magic neither past life,they are not always true, they're just tales from the book so yeah I don't believe in them " Jimin replied Crossing his hand to his chest," what if I tell you that the necklace is a magical thing that was once wore by a girl named Lisa.. does that name ring a bell ...".a quick flash hit Jimin where by he saw a the same necklace on a girls neck with a pink lips but he didn't get to see her eyes, he quickly came back to his senses," no I don't know haven't heard of that name before, what does it got to do with Jungkook being in that condition," he asked " you will find out soon after he wakes up " Taemin replied," okay if there's nothing else please may excuse me I need to go , my friends are waiting for me , " okay" Taemin said as he watch Jimin walk away.....
