The day began smooth like butter Jimin was over the moon, finally Jungkook is going to be released from the hospital today after a whole three days,quickly he pull out his phone and dialed his friends numbers telling them they all should meet at the hospital, minutes later they all were at Jungkook waiting room, Jimin, Jin hobi and namjoon they couldn't wait to see their bunny finally out of this building.
Finally it all arrived, as Jungkook was being wheeled out of the hospital, the bright sunlight broke through the glass windows illuminating the stark white walls behind him. He squinted against the sudden brightness, but his gaze reminded fixed on Jimin, who walked closely besides him . The warmth of the sun felt foreign after days spent in the sterile confines of the hospital, but it was nothing compared to the warmth that radiated from his best friend's presence.
Jimin's eyes sparkled with relief, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he spoke softly, "you're finally free, kookie."
But Jungkook barely heard him, he was lost in thoughts , reflecting on the countless moments they had shared those memories flooded his mind, the one he thought he will never remember came back like lighting and he remembered him very well, he's still as cheerful as he used to be back then nothing as changed.
Behind them was Jin, with his usual playful demeanor, teased, "you look like you just came back from the dead! Next time, try not to scare us like that." His lighthearted banter broke the tension, and Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle, though it was Jimin's unwavering gaze that kept pulling him back into a trace.
As soon as the were out of the hospital a car drove Infront of them , everyone stopped waiting to see who will comes out it, but Jimin remember he had called the professor to come and drive them home considering none of them had a car expect for the Jungkook who was sick. So Jimin just told them that,that was Taemin but as soon as the person got out the car it was hobi time to riot.
" What the hell are you doing here V " he asked, but the other one didn't even looked at him and went straight to Jimin. " Babe am sorry for the other day, please give me another chance, let me take you guys home,"Jimin when did you say Taemin was gonna arrived cause am bored sitting in this wheelchair? ", Jungkook who didn't gave fuck about V standing there spoke.
Quickly V squat reaching Jungkook's level on the wheel chair," hello, how are you feeling, since Taemin isn't here yet ,allow me to take you home please and am sorry for what I did to Jimin at the hospital the other day it wasn't intentional", it was was quite for a little while until Jimin spoke.
" Please leave me alo.... " ,"okay on a second thought you can take us home", Jimin sentence was cut of with Jungkook sudden request, jimin knows how Jungkook doesn't really like V so he wondered why he agreed so he reached to him, "are you sure", Jimin asked, and Jungkook just gave him a node reassuring that it was fine.
With that Jimin drove JK's wheelchair pass V,leaving him still squatting, but as soon as Jimin was about to open V's car , another car came in a rush and packed next to V's car, Taemin quickly got out of the car , going straight to Jungkook wheelchair but he stopped halfway.
Taemin stood in the middle heart racing as he finally laid eyes on Jungkook. The air was thick with unspoken words, and for a moment, time seemed to freeze. Jungkook with his familiar yet foreign aura , felt like a ghost from Taemin's past .
Both stood frozen the world around them fading away and Jungkook saw all of it , memories of a past life flickered in their minds , " pri... i..i mean professor" he said with a nervous smile nice to see you again the last sentence came out soft , Taemin just smiled at him and replied, " nice to see you again Jungkook, there eyes stayed locked for a moment until Namjoon broke it, "mmm professor I think V will take us home" ,he said, " it's okay hobi and namjoon you can go with him Jin will ride with us", Jimin said, " are you guys sure" hobi asked looking at V, " yah what's your problem do I look like a kidnapper to you , Jimin is my boyfriend remember that," with that Jimin looked at him and V got the gaze, but it didn't stay for long , Jimin helped Jungkook to get inside the car, okay you guys drive safe, " Jimin said as he waved goodbye to them.

Back at the Jeon mansion Jimin help Jungkook up the stairs as the rest followed behind.
"You know you should stop holding me like an egg Jimin am not gonna break okay," Jungkook said teasingly, which cause all of them to chuckle, quickly Jimin help him to his room, " of course you're an egg to me Jungkook after what happened trust me am not leaving your side, had already told my mom I will sleep here so don't worry," as soon as they were all in the room Jungkook asked for a glass of water, " okay I'll go downstairs to get it in the meantime rest your head and so Jimin went to the kitchen to bring what he was asked," Jin hyung can you please go bring me some cookies I forgot to tell Jimin", he said," okay I'll be back. As soon as the door shut Jungkook got up off the bed.
" What do you want with Jimin ", to say V was shock will be understatement, Jungkook standing still Infront of him leaving no distance for V to breathe," wh.. what.... what do you mean what I want from him , of course he is my boyfriend and have told you that a million times ", V replied stepping backwards to give himself a space," I know you want something from him I don't know what but I'll find out soon," before the conversation was over the door open with Jimin and jin following behind.
" Here are what you asked for " Jimin entered with a bright smile on his face, " I think I'll leave now ", V announced while opening the door, " Jimin can we talk outside before I leave I don't want to disturb Jungkook," Jimin just signed as he follows V outside, turning to jk before telling him he will be back.
V stood next to the car door searching for Jimin's eyes, " hey love" Jimin turned and looked at him , " am sorry for all the trouble I cause", he said " you mean like accusing me of cheating on you or making me hit my head on a wall.... Ooh oooh or starting a stupid argument with my professor, which one are you sorry of V ", Jimin spoke up with an angry face , " am sorry for all of it just please lets return to how we used to be before please.
Jimin stand next to v, his heart heavy with unspoken thoughts. The air between them felt charged, a mixture of tension and sorrow. He took a deep breath searching for the right words, " V , I... I think I need a break from us ," he finally said, his voice barely above a whisper. V's eyes widened, confusion and hurt flickering across his face . " What do you mean?", he asked, his tone edged with disbelief. Jimin looked away, feeling the weight of his decision, " with all the things that have been happening, I just need some time to figure things out," he replied the ache in his chest growing stronger with each word .
V couldn't believe this was happening he was doom and he knew that, " please am sorry I won't do it again just don't do this to me now," V with tearing eyes went on his knees, Jimin couldn't look at him in the eyes knowing very well how it hurts him to see his first love cried so with an heavy heart he started walking away, " Jimin please please I'll change just don't go " V cried but Jimin didn't stop he was hurting to so he just cried in silence as he take one step at a time forward. V watched him leave knowing very well what is waiting for him behind if he go back with this news and no information , but that didn't scare him like loosing Jimin.
As Jimin opened the door to Jungkook's room the other one was still on his bed but when he saw Jimin enter with puffy eyes he got up and run to him, " what is it Jimin, what did that good for nothing person do to you this time," Jimin just hug his best friend," can we just lie down I wanna rest for a while am tired", Jimin said to Jungkook as he wipe his eyes and just node, Jimin realizing that Jin wasn't here so he asked," where is Jin, " he left, he told me he got some stuff to do with his parents so he just left," Jungkook replied, " ooh okay, can we sleep while we cuddle I miss you?", Jungkook didn't protest like the other times he just gave him a forehead kiss and replied, " I miss you so much too my little prince " Jungkook reply as they get in the bed and that's how the rest of their day ended with Jimin sleeping on Jungkook's chest.
