Dr. Kristine Moore was a name spoken with respect in the bustling hospitals of New York City. Her compassion, empathy, and tireless dedication to her job earned her name and fame. Her achievements were far above those of her age, with an honorable degree and recommendations from some of the best doctors in the country. But beneath these achievements and fame was a broken heart, carrying the burden of a great loss—the loss of her childhood—and staying away from her homeland, Tuleria. She had been sent away from the kingdom of Tuleria at the tender age of 6 by her father, the Prime Minister, due to political turmoil. She had from then on been living on her own in America and wanted nothing to do with her past.
(Kristine)
In America, Kristine led a busy life, oblivious to the happenings in her homeland, never expecting to return there, the place that disowned her.
One day, as she returned home tired after performing multiple surgeries, Kristine found a letter that would change her life completely. The letter was placed on her porch, with a package attached to the letter, which said, "OPEN ME ONCE YOU READ THE LETTER." Quite shaken, she quickly picked it up and headed inside her home to read the letter. The elegant script bore the royal seal of Tuleria. All the letter said was:
Dear Kristine,
If you are reading this letter, it means that you need to return to Tuleria immediately. This concerns your biological parents and your past. Please board the next flight and come to Tuleria to reclaim your past and find your future.
As Kristine read the letter, a tug of emotions stirred within her. She was both curious and apprehensive, her mind racing with possibilities. She was at a crossroads. On one hand, she had duties as a doctor, and on the other was the door to find out who she was.
Her journey back to Tuleria was not just a return but the beginning of a journey that would intertwine her fate with the very royal family she had been distanced from for years. As her flight approached Tuleria, the kingdom's majestic landscape emerged from the clouds.
The royal family of Tuleria awaited her arrival. The royal family included King Chandra, Queen Lilianne, and the princes, Prince Claude Chandra and Prince Lee Chandra, who were twins. The two princes, born of the same blood but starkly different, had been groomed to lead their people. Their contrasting personalities had shaped the kingdom's fate in ways the world could only begin to understand. On her way to the kingdom, Kristine had heard people talking about how different the two princes were. The descriptions given by the people were as follows:
Prince Claude was warm and kind-hearted, famous among the people for his approachability and compassion. He had a natural gift for diplomacy and empathy, often seen wandering among the common folk, sharing stories, and lending a listening ear. His genuine affection for his people and his earnest desire to bring peace and happiness to Tuleria made him the people's favorite.
(Claude)
On the other hand, Prince Lee was cold and distant. His icy demeanor and sharpness commanded respect and fear, rather than admiration. He was the head of the military forces as well. As Lee was quite blunt and didn't talk much like his brother, the people were not very fond of Lee as such and spread rumors about his deeds. Lee always felt overshadowed by his twin brother and developed a kind of hatred toward him as time passed. Hence, there was also rivalry between the brothers of the royal family.
(Lee)
As Kristine stepped off the plane and stepped foot on her old home, the memories of her short time there came back to her. She realized that her journey was not just a short vacation, but was the beginning of a journey that would intertwine her fate with that of the two princes and maybe even make her a queen!
