Hannah did come to urge them to go outside for sightseeing and to eat a meal together.
Autumn started and it felt cold due to changing of season. They wore thick coats and gloves.
Yibo laughed upon seeing that the two wore similar set of clothes, both Zhan and Hannah.
He didn't feel any bit of jealousy when he saw his daughter wrapping her arms around Zhan's neck. Acting coquettishly in front of him. Leaning and rubbing her cheek on the man's neck.
It was the opposite. He liked and felt entertained whenever he saw them like this.
He didn't know, that maybe the reason why Hannah and Zhan started to look like each other. For they used to stick around and always glued to each other these past few days.
He liked it. That Zhan accepted and loved his daughter too.
He walked behind them. Smiling as the two conversed from time to time.
He also agreed in regards with Hannah's insistence, for them to go outside. Why? Both of them, just sat in front of huge flatscreen television. Lying on the long sofa bed and binge watch those disney movies. They didn't even bothered to let him join the fun. On contrary, they ignored him, giving him cold shoulders. Why? He had some few business to attend to... regarding him holding an exhibit soon.
He talked and conversed. Meeting potential sponsors and old friends. With those things happening, he had forgotten to reply to Zhan's messages as well as Hannah's.
His phone battery run out and he only texted them when it was past 11 PM.
The two took that incident by heart seriously. They given him cold shoulders and even rolled their eyes whenever they saw him.
He should be annoyed but surprisingly, he didn't. In fact, it was adorable. How Hannah's expression mirrored Zhan's.
He didn't mean to make them worry and anxious. He didn't mean to do it. He was at blamed too though. That slipped in his mind. Doing this and that. Having a meal and talking about business and such. He should have checked his phone, that time.
But it happened already and he couldn't bring back the time to take a different route. He could only reflect on his actions and remember, not to commit the same thing again.
The two started withdrawing their insistence, with this cold war, which the two only signed themselves in. For Yibo, didn't.
The thawing of ice began when he agreed to his daughter's suggestion, when he heard them talking. Saying that it would be fun to go outside, stroll around the neighborhood and eat some hotpot and some barbeques.
Zhan even initiated kissing him after that.
The other person tended to get shy but because of that, because Hannah expressed how delighted he was, Zhan made the first move.
He come back from his trance. Breaking his chain of thoughts when he heard his daughter's sweet voice. Telling him to move forward and walk beside Zhan.
He laughed when he saw the fog whenever Zhan's open his mouth to talk. Hannah and Zhan both wore that same padded coat, same design just differ from their sizes.
The two even walk together holding each other's hand while singing. He shook his head. He really likes the scene that he's seeing right now.
Even the atmosphere started to get cold. The streets were still filled with busy goers. Vendors selling hot noodles and pastries. There were stalls on the corner where costumers dined in, laughing and talking to each other. It was lively and so vibrant.
