Vampires,Witches, and Hybrids...Oh My (Chapter three)

--//ARIA'S POV//--

After my sister and I had been questioned for about the one hundredth time, we went home and wen straight to our rooms. Soon after I heard a knock at the door. "Come in." I throw my hair up in a sloppy bun and start removing my makeup. "Um Aria do you think I could sleep in your room tonight?" I look over at my sister seeing her now flushed face. Molly was still shaken up from the whole thing. I don't blame her. This was her first dead body she's ever seen. And hopefully this will be the last time. "Yeah come here." I pat the spot next to me on the bed and give her a warm hug. I feel her relax against me. Mom then comes in to check on us. "How are you guys feeling?" She asks with concern. Molly barely looks up at her I just shrug. "See mom this is the reason why we shouldn't have moved back here." My mom bites the corner of her lip then looks at me. "Aria, this could have happened anywhere even back in Vermont." I roll my eyes and let out a sigh. "

Oh yeah mom back in Vermont I always heard on the news about girls being found in a pool of blood with a piece of their neck chewed off." Molly winces next to me. I pull her closer into a hug. Mom give more of her lame speech that we need to be here to heal when in reality were slowly breaking. A few minutes after mom leaves the room I turn off my lights and lay next to my sister under my comfy white sheets. I close my eyes feeling sleep just around the corner.

"Aria...?" I feel my sister flip to the side so she's now facing me. "Yes Molly." I glance at her. Her face looks pretty in the moon light. Her spooky green eyes seem to glow in the dark. "What do you think they are going to say that killed that girl?" I slowly bit my bottom lip while I think for a minute before answering. "They'll probably say an animal attack her. But I had got a good look at her and those bites on her neck weren't from any animal that I know." Molly then lays back while looking at the ceiling. "This town has to many secrets." She mutters as she closes her eyes. Thinking to myself. Your right about that Molls and I plan on finding out those secrets. Soon sleep claims me and I dream about being in a dark room hearing a voice call out to me.

I soon wake up with Molly cuddled up next to me. Moments like this made me really love this kid. Deep down I knew that if anyone messed with her they would have to answer to me. Her eyes soon fluttered open. "Mornin." I stretch out and yawn. "Mornin." Molly heads to the shower and I check to make sure the coast is clear. When it is I grab my laptop and search up animal bites. I run my fingers through my hair as my search gets me no where. But on the plus side I know it's not an "animal bite" I turn off the laptop and grab my towel waiting for Molly to get out. I hear my mom giggling down stairs. "Oh your such a charmer Damon." I feel myself narrow my eyes at the thought of my mom serving Damon Salvatore drinks. I head down stairs on a mission as in why this jerk was in my house.

When I get to the kitchen my mom is giggling like a little school girl. Damon looks me over. I feel my eyes already rolling. Then I think again and look down at what I'm wearing. I'm wearing green duckie boxers shorts with the matching tank top. Couldn't I have wore something cooler to bed. "Well good morning sleepy head." Damon says with a smirk. I sneer at him and get myself some toast. "What are you doing here?" I retort. "Aria! That is no way to treat a guest. Mr. Salvatore here is a part of the council and he was just showing some hospitality." I shake my head and take a bite of the dry toast. "I'm sorry Mr. Salvatore. Please excuse my manners but why are you in my house?" I say with a sarcastic tone that made my mom glare. This doesn't effect him. "Like your mother said I'm here showing my hospitality and I heard that you and your sister got caught up in a little mishap." For some reason I felt that he was a little to calm about how me and Molly had found the body. "Thanks for your hospitality." I mutter as I walk off to the living room.

The door bell rings. "I'll get it." I call out as I walk I over to the door. "Elena hi." I give her a hug and invite her in. "If your looking for your boyfriend. He's flirting with my Mom in the kitchen. She looked a little relieved for a moment. "Actually I came here to see you. How are you doing?" I shrug. "Well it must be something in the water Elena cause I'm already use to the craziness of this place. Remember I use to live here." I give her a devilish smile.
