Sleeping With The Enemy (Chapter Twenty)

---//KLAUS'S POV//---

I was surprised to find her lips on mine. Seeing her like that made me weak. I held onto her waist and drew her closer. Her heartbeat was pounding against me. When she broke the kiss she had a look of pleading in her eyes. And I was going to give in to her request.

----//ARIA'S POV//----

He pulled me back into the heated kiss. His hands cupped me and next thing I knew I was wrapping my legs around him. Every minute was precious. Some were rushed others lingered. I had caught a glimpse of Klaus's vampire face and glowing yellow eyes. He bit down on my neck and a whimper passed my lips. I ran my fingers through his blonde Curley hair. 

He had then stopped before I had that light headed feeling. This man would be the death of me. He vamp sped us into his bed room and threw me on the bed. He stripped off his shirt and I had to admit I was liking the view. He then attacked me with kisses and love bites on my lips and neck. I felt for my shirt and three it off of me sending it somewhere in the room. After our rushed attempts we were finally undressed. I had him pinned down with a confident smirk forming on my lips. I saw his eyes look up and down my naked body. That's when I went in for the moment.

I had laid their spent on Klaus's chest. The after glow clear on my face. "I take that you enjoyed yourself love?" I manage only a nod and deep blush. I could feel sleep calling me. And I was about to answer. "Happy Birthday Aria." Was the last thing I heard Klaus say before I drift off.

----//KLAUS'S POV//----

She laid there looking like a beautiful vixen. I knew at that moment she was mine and I would kill anyone who would test me for her. I see her frown in her sleep. I kiss her on the lips before going to sleep myself. My Aria. Yes she's all mine...

----//ARIA'S DREAM//----

"It's time to get me the dagger child." I feel wet ground on my back. When I look over Iyana's black eyes are in my face. I can taste the blood in my mouth as I try not to scream. She must love seeing the fear in my eyes. "Time to prepare for my arrival child. We have so much to do, with such little time." Iyana's cold hand had closed around my eyes so fast I actually let the scream escape my lips.

----//THIRD PERSON//----

Aria woke up with a blank stare. She pulled on Klaus's shirt and slowly walked out of the room trying not to wake him. She walked around the house feeling something calling her. Dagger....dagger.... She felt its pull bringing her closer. She reached into the bookshelf and pulled out the hollowed book. Inside was the dagger that Iyana needed. Aria had then smiled. But if you looked closer you would have seen the blood dripping from her pouty pink lips. She walked silently back into the room and placed the dagger into her hand bag. Before Klaus could stir in his sleep, she had laid back down on his chest and went back sleep. This time no blood on her lips. This time into a peaceful slumber.

----//ARIA'S POV//----

I woke up on Klaus's chest. He was still sleep. I watched him for a while. I was close enough to see his eyelashes lay on his cheek. He looked so much younger and peaceful in his sleep. By looking at him now if anyone would have told me that this man was the big bad original hybrid I would have laughed and said yeah right. As I move his arm wraps around me. I get a warm safe feeling from him. When I look down I see his happy trail. I felt a shiver run down to my toes. I moved his hand off of me and started to gather my stuff. I sneak out the door when I hear someone giggle behind me. I turn and see Rebekah tsking me. "Tsk tsk tsk. Sneaking out of my big brothers room in just a t-shirt and undergarments oh my dear you scream class." I roll my eyes and turn my back on her. Big mistake. I feel wind and she's in front of my. She grabs my throat and slams me hard against the wall. "I wasn't finish talking. You don't walk away while I'm still talking to you." She starts to squeeze into my wind pipe and her face forms into the demonic beauty that I seen only a few times. She lunges for my throat but she's thrown off of my. I fall to the floor gasping and choking. I look up and see a pissed off Klaus. But he wasn't channeling his anger at me. Thank God. He was staring at Rebekah as if he was about to break her neck. Which he probably would do if I wasn't there. "Don't you ever touch her again do you understand!" His shouts makes me and Rebekah flinch. "But Nik..." She utters. "No buts Rebekah. I mean it." Rebekah shoots me with a glare and vanishes.

Klaus then turns to me and I flinch. His hard demeanor softens as he gets closer to me. "Don't tell me you were planning on sneaking out on me love." He smirks at me and gives me his hand. I take it. "Well you saw me so technically it's not sneaking out its more of watching me walk out with out speaking." I manage a little smirk. "Well then maybe you should speak to me before you go sweetheart." He leaned up against me and lifted my chin so I could look him in the eyes. He then kissed me. I felt like I was going to melt against the wall. He then pinned my arms above my head and kissed me deeper. I was getting weak in places that I didn't even know existed. He broke the kiss and I felt myself pout and narrow my eyes at him. "Tease." I mutter under my breath as he walks away. "I heard that." I roll my eyes and follow him back to the bedroom

I was then freshly showered and slide back into my clothes. I winced at the dried blood on my jeans. Mom will freak is she sees this. I think to myself. I walk down stairs seeing Klaus coming out of the kitchen. "What's for breakfast?" I ask as I sit my bag in a chair. "I have some blood in the cooler or I could alway call someone and get it freshly tapped from the vein." I fake gag and roll my eyes at him. "Do you have like real food in this house?" I go searching the cabinets and I find a box of cereal. I take a hand full and then spit them back out. "Whoa this cereal must be bad it taste like dirt." I put it back back and walk over to Klaus. "I think I'll get something to eat at my house." I look down and see a little box. "What's that?" I ask pointing at it. He lifts his brow as if he doesn't know what it was. I open the box and gasp at the gift. "Klaus this is beautiful." I look back at the star necklace and pick I up. Instantly Klaus stands behind me. "Let me love." He puts the necklace on me and I feel it hit my collar bone. "Let me guess a last minute present?" I ask when I turn around. "Actually you can say I had it for you for a while." Hm? I shrug it off . "I have to get home I'm sure my friends want to plan more of my day for me." He leads me out the door and into his car. I lean back and stare out the window. Feeling for the first time like I got something important.

"Oh My God Aria! You got lucky last night didn't you?" I freeze as I walk in Elena's living room. "What are you talking about?" I scoff as Caroline gets closer. "Don't lie you have that I just got lucky glow so spill did you and creepy Scotty sleep together." I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I couldn't say I was sleeping with the enemy but I didn't want Caroline to tease me about Scott either. "Um define sleeping together?" I say with a raised brow. Caroline narrows her eyes at me. "What do you think sleeping together means Aria?" I see she's playing along. "Well sleeping together to me means laying down in a horizontal angle on a bed pulling the covers over you and the person and then snoring until the break of dawn." I say in an innocent voice. Right when she's about to talk my phone goes off. I look at the number and I don't recognize it. "Hello?"  

"Hello love." A smile appears on my face. Look over at Caroline's questioning face. I point at the phone. "It's my mom. I'm going to go take this outside." I rush out on the front porch. And out the phone back to my ear. "So I'm your mother now?" I giggle. "That was just-" I turn and see Caroline looking at me strangely. "That was just a really nice hand bag you gave me mom. I loved it." He chuckles on the phone. "Well I gave you a lot more last night love." I can't believe he could make me feel weak over the phone. I cover the phone. "Do you need anything Care?" She gives me once last look and just walks back into the house. "Ok coast is clear." I say back on the phone. "What are you doing today love?" I sigh and think. "Well I'm actually about to go take a nap. Kind of didn't get a lot of sleep last night or this morning." I giggle into the phone. "I was thinking that tomorrow we can have dinner together." I smiled at the thought. "I don't know my dance card is really full." I say in a teasing tone. I hear him growl over the phone and I find it strangely erotic. "You should empty it for me then sweetheart." I roll my eyes playfully. "Ok what time do you want me to get ready?"
