Blondie Is Calling...(Chapter Thirteen)

---//ARIA'S POV//---

Molly and I are helping out in the school gym with the rest of the gang. I hear Caroline groan as she puts up more decorations. "Why did I let you pick the theme I mean seriously Aria the 80's?!" I let a full smile spread on my lips. "See if you would have left me out of this you could have had a nice little 50's dance." She glares and pouts at me. "Ok come on Care this could be fun. The music the outfits. I know you could whip up an amazing 80's outfit for the dance. So don't think of it as torture think of it as letting loose and having fun." She gives me a reassuring smile. "Ok fine but your helping me out up these decorations." She looks over at Matt and Jeremy. "No you can't just put those there they have to be placed in the perfect spot." She walks over towards the laughing boys. "Remind me to never get on her bad side when it comes to planning school dances." Molly says as she walks up to me. I hip bump her. "You know how Caroline is. She has to have everything perfect and if it's not one hundred percent then she raises hell." We both laugh and I find Elena putting up hot pink ribbons. I go over to help her. One of the ribbons fall and I catch it with ease. "So how are you feeling?" She asks me. "Oh I'm feeling great seeing Caroline fuss over this theme just makes me laugh inside." I giggle. "No I mean how are you feeling about you know everything?" My mouth forms an O. "I feel fine I mean there hasn't been a sign of klaus anywhere. And I'm not sleep walking anymore. Plus Molly is safe...I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm living each day as it passes." Elena smiles at me. "That's good to hear. So who's going to be your date to the dance tonight?" Why did I feel like if I answered that question it would be a trap? Call me a dare devil cause I sure did answer. "Me and Molly are going stag. That way I can have fun and Molly doesn't feel left out." I help her put up the rest of the hot pink ribbon and start on the lime green. "You know Stefan is going too." She says nonchalantly. "Yea I know so?" I raise a brow at her. "So I think that you should take him. I mean Molly is gonna be here with some friends too so she won't be alone." I shook my head. "Elena I know what your trying to do. I know your heart is in the right place but I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. It's bad enough Caroline gives me the death glare every time she sees me near him. I mean yes I did sleep with Stefan but it was a mistake that will never happen again." I put the ribbon down and I see her face has sadness on it. "Hey, save me a dance tonight. I can't wait to show you my killer 80's move." I start doing the robot and Elena's laughs. "Um Aria I don't think that's an 80's move."

"Mom! Can I barrow your pink ray bans?" Molly calls down the hall. I pick up my tease comb and tease my bangs. I look at myself in the full length mirror and smile. I was channeling my inner 80's Madonna. And in my opinion I think I pulled it off. Molly had came into my room. "Aria can I borrow your yellow glasses?" I turn around seeing my little sister dressed like an 80's chick with attitude. Her hot pink arm Warmers look in a way right in her. "Sure just don't get any scratches on them." She gives me a one up glance and nodded in approval. "If your going for the Madonna look you gotta do the beauty mark on the lip." Molly says as she gets my shades. She places them on her head and pops some gum while crossing her arms over her chest. "So how do I look? Do I scream 80's problem child?" I finish doing the beauty mark with my liner pen then look at her. "Oh yeah Molly you scream badass." I give her a fist bump and we head out the room into the living room where mom was waiting. "Well don't you girl bring back memories. I remember it like it was yesterday. The big hair, the colors, the fashion oh I miss it." Her eyes seem to be in a daze. I whisper to Molly. "Come on let's go before she starts talking about how she wish she was a teenager again and tries to come to the party with us." We both nod. "Bye mom don't wait up!" I yell as Molly and I bolt out the door.

We arrive at the dance and head towards the gym. I see a lot of Tom Cruise wannabes and some girls with really big hair. I soon see a blond vamp that goes by the name of Caroline Forbes. She turns around and waves me and Molly over. As we walk up I see Elena and Bonnie all decked out in 80's attire. "Wow you guys look amazing." Molly says as we get close. I giggle. "You guys look like a girl group." Bonnie glares playfully at me. "If we're a girls group then your apart of it to Madonna." We all laugh. "Ok but you guys are my back up dancers cause Madonna doesn't do the whole girl group thing." I say as I strike a pose. Molly rolls her eyes at me and giggles. I put my arm on her shoulder and we all head into the gym. The music playing was Authentic 80's music. The whole gym was pack with dancing and chatting teenagers. Even the teacher seem to enjoy themselves. Just then Blondies song Call Me comes on. I look at my sister and she rolls her eyes at me but smiles. "Ok Aria I'll dance with you lets go." I grab my sisters hand and bring her on the dance floor.
