He usually sleeps late on the weekend, but today he hardly gets any sleep. Boruto tossed and turned on his bed, trying to find a comfortable position but failing miserably. After several moments of useless attempts, he sat up and looked at the clock on his bedside table.
It's morning already. The boy let out a long sigh, running a hand through his messy blond hair. He closed his eyes, let his mind wander to what happened in this exact room with Sarada yesterday.
It's still fresh on his memories, how her beautiful face is blushing red. How her body pressed against his. Her delicate skin. Her long eyelashes. The way she tasted when he kissed her lips... the softness, a fair taste of cherry, it's almost intoxicating.
They kissed. Did she hate it? But she didn't reject him, did she? Does this mean they're going out now?
All those questions were swirling around his head and the boy couldn't make sense of them, but one thing was clear: he loves her too much. That is the reason he doesn't have to think twice to kiss her when she's standing right in front of him and the mood is good.
There was no going back now. Boruto took his phone from his pocket and his fingers quickly tapped Sarada's contact number without hesitation.
'Sarada?'
'Are you home?'
He stopped for a second after sending two messages continuously and then added.
'Can I come over?'
After few minutes there was no answer to the messages, so Boruto continued typing,
'Well... I think we should talk.'
'I'm sorry for what I did yesterday, I don't want you to see me in a bad way.'
'Sarada?'
'Hellooooo'
'I'll come to your house at 11AM'

Uchiha Sasuke was a man deeply rooted in pride. It was a defining trait of the Uchiha clan, something that had been passed down through generations. For Sasuke, pride wasn't just a personal characteristic; it was a family legacy, one that pushed him to excel and never show weakness. In his world, showing vulnerability was unacceptable. As the youngest heir to the Uchiha Enterprise, he learned early on to approach life with calculated precision, always thinking several steps ahead.
Sasuke prided himself on being a strategist. Every move he made was deliberate, every decision carefully considered. In the corporate world, he had already begun to make a name for himself, earning the respect of his father, Uchiha Fugaku, and even outshining his older brother, Itachi, in certain areas. He had a clear vision for his future, and nothing was going to deter him from achieving his goals.
However, it never works with Sakura.
Sakura Haruno was everything Sasuke wasn't: lively, emotional, and unpredictable. She had a knack for getting under his skin, turning his logical world upside down with her spontaneity. Despite his best efforts to maintain control, Sakura always seemed to find a way to challenge him in ways he hadn't anticipated.
Sasuke still remembered the day Sakura completely upended his life. It was right after his father had announced that Sasuke would be taking over as Head Manager of the southern branch of Uchiha Enterprise—a position he had worked hard to earn. For once, he felt like he had everything under control, like he was finally ahead of his brother, Itachi.
That time, the naïve, young Uchiha Sasuke felt the world was already in his palm, but things did not always go according to the plan. Even he knew that there would be times that it would become difficult to predict the future.
