For seventeen years of her life, the time Sarada met Sasuke can be counted with fingers. After learning the truth that her father actually wasn't dead as she always thought, Sarada occasionally got in touch with her father by short phone calls or text message when Sakura told her to. They only meet when there is a special occasion like her birthday.
According to Sakura's story, Sakura dan Sasuke's relationship ended before Sakura realized she was pregnant with Sarada. He is hesitant about keeping the baby, but Sakura wants the opposite. Sasuke left the village to continue his parent's business, cutting her off and Sakura raised Sarada alone. Only God knows why he is coming back after a decade abandoning them.
Basically, the relationship between Sasuke and Sarada is no more than a stranger.
"...Why did you decide this before talking to me first, Mama?" Sarada turned her head to ask her mother with a hoarse voice.
"Sarada..."
"This man." She pointed her finger at her father, "...abandoned me and you for years."
Sarada couldn't contain her tears anymore. She had never felt so hurt and betrayed. Her father is standing across the kitchen. His face expressionless while he looked at her from afar. Sarada really hates the stoic face of his.
"It's always been Mama and me since the beginning. We managed just fine and we didn't need you!" She shouted.
"Sarada, he is your father!" Sakura shouted back.
"He never once acted like a father for me!" Sarada screams back. "He didn't even acknowledge me back then and told you to have an abortion, didn't he? What kind of father is that?"
She turns her back and reaches for the doorknob to her room. She doesn't want to look at her father again. She feels so hurt. But she felt the pain of her mother grabbing her hands from behind and holding her. Sakura's eyes were filled with sadness but her lips held faint traces of anger.
"Please just listen to me. He's trying to make it up to you, Darling." She pleaded.
Sarada looked down to the ground while holding her mother. Sakura's hands are still on hers while she rubs Sarada's skin gently. But she took her hand away. When she looked back to her mother, she found the same expression she saw before. The sad eyes and lips are full of sadness.
Then she turned her gaze to her father. The man stands like a statue, not saying anything. He was just watching them from afar like a spectator. It made Sarada mad. She wants him to say something at least, but he just stands there silently. As if he didn't care what happened around him. As if he didn't exist.
With trembling lips, Sarada says, "I don't believe this." She turns and walks towards her room. "I got to get ready for school. Don't bother me."

The autumn wind felt so cool as the sun went down, leaving behind only an orange sunset. It has been a long day at school and Sarada was tired.
She sighed as she closed her locker door. Sarada couldn't concentrate at all at school, even on her favorite subject, Wakai-sensei's history class. She didn't even touch her lunch today, katsudon with pickled radish, which is prepared by Hinata and happens to be her favorite dish. She rejected Cho Cho's invitation to walk home together because she just wanted to be alone.
Sarada wasn't feeling good about coming straight home today and walked around the small path that led to a small park nearby. It's usually bustling with small children playing, but this time there is none. It's really quiet and made her feel more lonely than usual, and Sarada decided to take a seat next to a bench by the pond.
