After they made a big sign for Sophia by writing on one of the car's windows with supplies on the hood, the group left. Daryl drove on his brother's motorcycle, Andrea took the van, and Sage, Kaylee Jo, and Carol were Dale's passengers in the RV. They followed the path where the woman who took Lori said to find the farm with the mailbox named Greene, and sure enough they did. Sage stood to go over to the front so that she could get a good look at the area.

It was quiet and peaceful surprisingly. No walkers for miles. Whoever looked out for the farm must have kept a good eye on this place by keeping the walkers out. There were yards of crops, a barn, and a well.

When they stopped their vehicles, everyone got out and found a whole bunch of people already outside, including Glenn and Shane. Not long after, Rick, Lori, T-Dog, an old man, and a woman came out. Sage looked over at T-Dog and noticed his bandaged arm, so she realized that these people treated his injury as well as Carl since Sage knew that the woman who took Lori on horseback wasn't lying about Carl.

"How is he?" Dale asked when Rick stepped forward.

Both Lori and Rick told them that their son was going to be okay, which caused Kaylee Jo to be confused as Sage noticed. They then introduced the rest of the group to Hershel and his family. Sage then snapped her eyes at Shane when Rick expressed genuine gratitude for him by saying that they would have lost Carl if it weren't for him before explaining that his son was involved in a stupid hunting accident, which made the color on Kaylee Jo's face turn pale.

Lori should have known that Shane would do anything to protect that kid. After Lori rejected him, it wasn't a surprise to hear that he was willing to do anything to for her son, almost as if he wanted to show that she needed him and why she shouldn't leave him. That was why Sage never liked Shane. He was unbelievably arrogant, and he reminded her too much of that bastard who raped her. Both manipulated their way to take advantage of the women they were interested in and went to extreme measures to get what they wanted. Sage needed to keep an eye on Shane if he was playing this game. However, she also needed to be wary of Lori.

She clearly still did not tell her own husband what she did behind his back. If she did, there was no way he would give Shane such high praise. Even though it shouldn't matter to Sage, a part of her wanted Lori and Shane to be exposed so that Rick could see what kind of best friend and wife he really had.

Some time later after the group set up their camp, Sage asked if she could have some clothes so that she could do laundry. She was thankful that the Greens gave her, her daughter, and her brother new clothes to wear as Sage explained that the only clothes her family had were on their backs. Sage wore a plaid, sleeveless, with a red, white, and black pattern shirt, black jeans, and her leather boots. Daryl wore a brown plaid shirt with the sleeves ripped off since he said it was too hot for long sleeves. As for Kaylee Jo, she also wore plaid but with short-sleeves, and it had a turquoise blue, red, and gold pattern with blue jeans and her white sneakers.

As soon as Sage finished tying her hair, Daryl came over to her, "Hey, they're gettin' ready for a funeral or somethin'. Rick wants us to be there."

"Whose funeral?"

"Guess the people we're staying with lost someone."

Sage didn't really feel like attending since she didn't know them too well, but she felt like she didn't have much of a choice since they have done so much for the group already. "Okay."

Sage, Daryl, and Kaylee Jo went over to where the funeral was. It was right by the fence with everyone else already there. There was a pile of rocks on top of each other, and Sage didn't really understand why they were there until the Greene family picked out rocks from the wheelbarrow and placed it on top of the pile while Hershel read from a Bible before talking a bit about Otis, the guy they held the funeral for.
