Some may think that Yunjin's a stalker for how much she would watch Anna throughout the school day. She's just intrigued by her, nothing more.

"She's straight, you know?" Yeji said from next to her, they were sharing a blunt together after school. Something they did often. Yunjin was Yeji's way of getting stuff like this, Yunjin was the only person willing to give her any. Yunjin learned that Yeji was cool, she's not as bright and poppy as Eunchae or Anna.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

"I'm well aware, she's just intriguing. There's something different about her." Yunjin chuckled, taking the blunt from Yeji since it was her turn. She continued staring at Anna, she was sitting in her Lexus on her phone, probably setting her playlist for her ride home.

Her phone case is different. It's dark blue now. It used to be black. Perhaps that means her favorite color is blue now.

Yunjin knew a lot of little things about her because of these continuous sessions of watching Anna. Stopping seemed impossible, an addiction like nicotine.

"Yeah, that's kinda why she's popular. Don't you have a girlfriend?"

"Nope, I don't really date. It's not my style."

"Of course." Yeji scoffed, rolling her eyes and putting the blunt between her lips.

"The fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing. Would you play Anna?"

Yunjin watched her drive out of the lot and decided with a frown. "No. People like her can't get hurt by people like me. She has her pretty princess life... where is she even going? Don't cheerleaders have to stay to practice for the game?"

"Yeah, but she always gets everyone smoothies."

Yunjin smiled at that and thought that maybe tonight she would finally go to a game. She never really went because she was too busy getting high, drunk, or action. Or all the above. She didn't like the scene of school preppiness and all the annoying groups of people being annoying acting as if they're the only people in the stands. Yunjin doesn't even understand football.

But maybe tonight she'll go, just to watch Anna.

Is it an obsession at this point?

Before the game, clouds settled, it was in the forecast to possibly rain, but the game was still set for play. Before it started, Yunjin ran into Anna in the bathroom. Anna initiated conversation with her, they spoke from time to time, but still they weren't that close.

"What brings you to tonight's game?" Anna asked as they washed their hands together.

"Thought I'd give it a shot... are you nervous?"

"For the game no. Just for whatever will happen after."

"What do you mean?"

"Someone is always taken after these games. I'm scared it'll be one of my friends, or even me. I wish it wouldn't happen anymore."

"Me too."

They fell into silence, not running out of things to say, but running out of time. Anna had to get to the field to stretch. It was still a good hour until the game, but the cheerleaders had to warm up and get ready. Sure they already had their uniforms on, but they needed makeup and hair as well.

Yunjin saw her next on the field, sitting the stands alone and not minding it. She was too focused to mind it, she didn't even notice the light drizzle of rain begin until she noticed it on Anna. She stretched in the field with the others. Her hair is still down, she must prefer it that way.
