Delta stood on the building, hastily lifting an arm up to hold the other members back whilst the blue energy congealed and ruffled - Alpha's energy burning to life.

Gamma, Epsilon, Eta, Beta and Zeta held - not because of her gesture but because of the person observing the battle with a smile.

Their breath hitched as they gazed at Shadow - still in his John Smith outfit - not even sparing them a glance, observing the battle intently with a grin.

He finally turned to face them with a grin; giving them an appraising stare of greeting  before slowly lifting his hand up with a purple glow.

Slowly - with purple streaks, permeated by dots -  a purple forcefield concealed into being; streaking and encasing the two in a forcefield to prevent any outward interferance.

He turned away from them, his eyes returning to the battle - not even sparing them a word or comment.

His eyes alighted on Alpha, something she didn't miss; feeling his presence on her even without their eyes meeting.

Finally her eyes turned to the side; finally locking onto his - the two staring at each other quietly.

"Cid .... " she whispered - using his name for about the first time.

He seemed unfazed by this, smiling and whispering words to her.

"You have .... something on your plate." He mouthed - turning away to face her competitor.

Alpha dashed away with a squint deflecting a thrust of a tail with a spark - barely deflecting the attack on time.

She slowly backpedelled away, swiftly deflecting and diverting the lancing tails away - having much more difficult than before in doing so.

Her eyes opened wider as a tail dashed passed her peripheral; something she completely missed - nicking her chin with a cleave and spurting blood into the air.

Yukime smiled sadly as Alpha slowly scurried away in confusion - still suprised that she had missed an attack she should have evaded accordingly.

Delta squinted with a frown, heaving a sigh of discontent while observing the battle.

"Lady Alpha won't win ...." She mused audibly, turning to face Shadow intently as he continued watching the match.

"Her mind isn't there ....." Gamma added, nodding in agreement.

"It doesn't help that master is also watching ...." Beta chimed in - picking up on the observation as well.

"This isn't a fight .... she's just throwing a temper tantrum." Zeta chided with a whisper - something Eta nodded at in agreement.

Alpha blitzed away; fading into a mist - something that initially caught yukime off guard, her eyes widening in suprise.

Yukime burst into motion, swiftly dancing; her tails flicking around to pick up her slack - deflecting and diverting lancing blade as Alpha appeared and dissappeared in a haze of mist.

Alpha partially submerged herself from the mist - thrusting and deflecting at intervals before changing position to a more advantageous point - trying to wilt down yukime's defense.

Their eyes widened as yukime turned, with well telegraphed movements, her eyes burning with surety to strike at her ostensibly empty side with a palm.

Alpha congealed at the area directly as the palm streaked by - the palm colliding with her chest and blasting her away to the forcefield wall.

She gasped and whimpered as her back collided with the energy field; energy fields streaking onto her body and blasting her back to her knees - sending her on her fours.
