Knock made it to the top with not a lot of effort. He thanked himself for his continued effort to stay in shape otherwise that climb would have been torturous. He heard something below and looked down.

"Bend your body over his when he takes off and hold on tight." Kavitra yelled up at him through a megaphone. Where the hell did she get a megaphone? He pushed that thought out of his mind and did what she told him to do as Karaxes moved to the edge of the cliff. Knock refused to look down and held onto one of Karaxes smallish spines with everything he had in him. Knock jumped a little when Karaxes let out a loud roar before he pushed himself off the cliff. The feeling of falling made Knock close his eyes and bite his lip to keep from screaming. He was definitely not having fun.

The next thing he knew, they had stopped heading towards the ground and instead were heading towards the clouds. Once they leveled out and were flying through the clouds, Knock opened his eyes. He immediately sat up, amazed at the view.

"Wow" he said. Autumn skies and beautiful shades of purple clouds were all that could be seen for miles. It was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen in his life. He looked behind him to see the young dragons following them. Some were struggling but Knock watched those who were get stronger as they practiced flapping their wings.

Knock turned back around and smiled at the feeling of being free. Free of the every-day worries, free of judgement, free of people testing him. He could stay up here forever. Karaxes roaring startled him before they were moving downwards. Knock quickly bent forward and closed his eyes. He didn't open them again till they had leveled out. He saw that they were now going through a canyon. He sat back up before Karaxes started turning left and then right to pass around the walls of the canyon.

"Woohoo!" He yelled out. He threw his hands up when he yelled out, making Karaxes roar in what seemed to be excitement. He heard the young dragons behind him roar out before some of them caught up to them and were flying either in front of them or next to them. This was the best day of his life.

Unfortunately, the flight came to an end when Karaxes brought them back to the cliff where everyone was waiting for them. He was told to climb down, which he did but not before praying that he doesn't miss a step and fall to his death. He got down without incident and backed away as the gray smoke started to surround Karaxes. The smoke disappeared and Korn was all that was left.

"Not as bad as you thought it was going to be, huh?" Korn said.

"Minus the flying headfirst towards the ground, it was amazing." He said. "Thank you for letting me go with you."

"You're welcome" he said. "If you ever want to go again just let me know."

"I might take you up on it." Knock said before Kavitra and Phubet joined them.

"How did it go?" She asked Korn.

"It always goes well and they all end up home safe and sound, so don't worry." Korn said before turning to Knock.

"Let's get out of here and get some dinner."

"Sounds good" he said before looking at Kavitra and Phubet. "It was nice to meet Korn's family, it's been...educational."

"Same here" Kavitra said.

"Tell dad I'll be by tomorrow." Korn said. Kavitra gave him a worried look before nodding. Korn snapped his fingers before a portal appeared and they went through it. Once they were in their living room, the portal disappeared and the questions were spoken.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Knock asked.

"What did you mean by educational?" Korn asked. They gave an awkward half-laugh before Knock spoke up.
