𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙺𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙼𝚈 𝚆𝙷𝙸𝙿 behind Mam'Dambisa's Ford Eco-Sport, I climb out with her parcel and head up to the front door. It's been about a day since we returned from Cape Town. Need I say it was one eventful 2 minute trip.
Just as I raise my hand to knock, it opens, and Mam'Dambisa greets me with a smile.
"Uphilile Sakhi?" she probes with the warmest of smile.
"Ngiyaphila. Hoping the gorgeous lady is well." I pull her in for a hug and kiss her cheek. "Uyaphi umuhle kanje?" Instantly, she cackles, sounding exactly like Ayize.
"Akhonto nyana. I have a few errands to run before family comes. Ngena kalok'." She steps aside, allowing me entry.
"Chief!" Ahluma exclaims, coming around the corner.
"There's my boy." I walk to him with open arms, wrapping him up in a playful chokehold. "How are you chief?" I ask, tickling him.
"Good!" he shrieks, giggling unstoppably. "Where's Nova?" he asks, blinking those round eyes that run in the Gxarha bloodline.
"Ah! I'm only seeing her this evening." I pretend to sound distraught. "Tell you what, how about I FaceTime Nanga later on, so you two can talk. Yeah?" He nods vehemently.
"Okay!" he exclaims chirpily.
"Before we wrinkle this, this is yours Mama," I say, handing Mam'Dambisa the garment bag that contains her traditional print dress. She zips it open and nods in approval, pride evident on her face.
"Yhu Sakhile, ayisenhle. oSisi will know me well ke ngomso. Tell uNangamso to put it in my bedroom. Ahluma, bring Makhulu's handbag." Ahluma runs off, leaving me with Mam'Dambisa who has the biggest smile on her face. Oh, so tomorrow is the day of Ayize's lobola negotiations.
"You can stay, I'm pretty sure she wants you around. I must warn you, she's been frustrated about how she's going to look tomorrow." Mam'Dambisa adds. I narrow my eyes, faking my confusion.
"I've seen how you look at my daughter, Sakhile. I wasn't born yesterday." With that she pats my upper back.∞︎︎∞︎︎∞︎︎
There she stands in the bathroom. I watch as she moves her thick hips to the sound of her angelic voice. She has on a basic black crop top with high-waisted tights that have her thick ass sitting just right.
Her bare face is a favorite of mine. I watch as she lines her full lips with a lip liner before covering them in 'Coppa Cookie' by Fenty Beauty. Don't ask me how I know that shit. She almost bit my head off when she lost it back in Cape Town. I had to buy a whole lot of Fenty Beauty lip shit.
Still oblivious to my presence, she rubs her lips together and pops them a few times for the colors to blend out.
"You sit me up on the counter
Instantly, it's thunder showers
Stormin' for a couple hours
When we finished, take a shower
I could do this for hours
And hours and hours
I could do this for hours
And hours..." she resumes her beautiful singing
