Rebekah sighed, throwing her books onto her bed. "Let's get started, Maria, because I'm going to need all the help I can get to study," she said, her voice tinged with frustration.

Maria chuckled and nodded. "Yes, Ms. Rebekah," she replied, her tone light and encouraging.

Rebekah smiled despite her stress and sat down on her bed, flipping through the pages of her textbooks. "Let's start with the worst subject of all: Algebra," she declared, bracing herself for the challenge ahead.

Maria sat down beside her, ready to assist. "Don't worry, Rebekah. We'll get through this together," she assured, her presence a comforting reminder that Rebekah wasn't alone in her academic struggles.

"Why would they ever decide to make SATs a thing?" Rebekah asked in frustration, tossing her pencil onto the bed. Just then, a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. She looked up to see Chuck standing in the doorway, and her expression softened into a smile. "Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked as he walked over to her.

"Thought you could use some encouragement," he said, handing her an iced coffee from her favorite coffee place. Her eyes lit up as she grabbed it.

"Ugh, you're amazing," she said, taking a sip and savoring the taste. Chuck chuckled and leaned down to kiss her.

"I've been told that before," he said with a wink.

Rebekah rolled her eyes playfully. "I meant because of the coffee, dumbass," she giggled, causing him to laugh as well. He settled into her pink fluffy chair, making himself comfortable.

"You're gonna stay?" Rebekah asked, her smile widening.

"Of course, princess," Chuck replied with a grin. His presence made the daunting task of studying for the SATs seem a little less overwhelming. Rebekah took another sip of her coffee, feeling a surge of motivation with Chuck and Maria by her side.

Rebekah looked at Chuck with her book in her hands. "What is it you need to talk to Serena about again?" she asked. He just kissed her cheek.

"Don't worry about it," he told her. As Blair walked past them, glaring, Rebekah rolled her eyes. They walked over to Serena.

"She really needs to tone down on the social niceties. It's embarrassing," Chuck said, sitting down. Rebekah sat down too, her nose buried in her book.

"Eventually, you three are gonna have to work out your issues," Serena told them.

"What issues? I'm issue-free," Chuck replied.

"Tell Blair that if she tries to make it up to me, maybe," Rebekah said with a shrug.

"Either way, based on my exhaustive research, so are you," Chuck said, looking at Serena.
